The food was good but not the best ever. Fries were still warm but not hot when handed to me from the drive thru guy. Only took... the standard Steak ?n Shake amount of time to get food so not slow. Straight up, these guys are awful. I've tried to order, through Uber Eats, a few times now. This latest time and one other... there are missing items. Not even close. Order Bacon Cheeseburger, no Bacon. Order Cheese Fries, no Cheese. A real pattern ofno care at all for presentation or even inclusion of all that was ordered. The good news is Uber Eats has a means to somewhatrecover, the bad news is Steak 'n Shake clearly does not care. Read more
Fries is the best. I love the burger when I'm eating, but after an hour or two, I usually (not always) do not have good... feelings. But, I still will be there in the future. Read more
Decent value menu & the food is soooooo much tastier than McDonald's. I compare them bc I usually eat here on my lunch break,... but used to go to the nearby McD's. The time it takes to get the food & pricing are about the same, but SnS tastes so muchbetter. The food is usually fresher, too. I've only been served old fries once, but I really didn't mind bc they weren't soggy &were still hot and crunchy (I'm a fan of thin crunchy fries). The servers frequently seem stressed, as the restaurant is likelyunderstaffed, like everywhere, but they are polite & seem to be doing the best they can. I definitely appreciate what they do &that, unlike the nearby McDonald's, I'm getting tasty food at a reasonable price from decent people. Thanks, y'all! And hang inthere! Read more
I want to preface this by saying I don?t write negative reviews unless the service was exceptionally bad. They should close... this place down. Food in general was not good, and was made with multiple items missing and large amounts of incorrectcondiments. Called to let them know, and someone on the phone offered to remake the incorrect sandwiches and give us the missingitems. When I arrived the person at the drivethru had zero knowledge that they were to remake/replace items. They proceeded toargue and haggle for several minutes, only agreeing to give the missing items. Arrived at 7:15 pm to get a sandwich and fries. Both front doors were locked, despite the sign saying they close at midnight,... and 2 employees behind the counter. Another attempt at the drive-thru was equally unsuccessful after sitting at the orderstation for 30 minutes behind another car who evidently didn't get to order anything and left. I finally left without ordering. If Steak 'n Shake is having problems that means closing outlets, it deserves to close. The sooner, the better. Read more
No onions, lettuce, tomato, a patty that?s barely bigger than a quarter, and a single stringy piece of bacon. I have promised I... wouldn?t go to steak n shake again, gave them another chance, and they ruined it. We will see this company fall to McDonald?ssoon. Read more
630PM on a Sunday, all lights are off - even outdoor signage. I'm guessing this place has finally closed for good!
