It was our first time on canton street and it has a ton of different restaurants to choose from. We hopped around and chose to... dine at Roux. We weren?t too hungry so we had some small plates to share. The drinks here are absolutely amazing! Definitelyrecommend the frozen margarita. We ordered fried oysters which were good too, as well as a watermelon salad. The watermelon wasfresh and juicy however there was way too much cilantro which did not pair well with the salad. I went for lunch with my Husband. I had the Lobster roll and shrimp and Steak skewers. The only issues I had was the menu was... dirty and should've been whiped off it had little pieces of lettuce or some green vegetable stuck on it. The other was with thelobster "roll" was more like a hot dog bun from the supermarket and not being thick enough to support the meat piled on and fellapart on but, the taste was phenomenal. Went to Dinner tonight. Rainy Monday night, no wait. Had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy and substituted slaw for... the veggies. Meatloaf had a consistency and I liked it. Potatoes were creamy and good. Slaw had large pieces of slaw and I didnot like. We ordered Beinets and they were awful. Totally obercooked and 7 bucks. Go to the plce down the street. Much betterand only 5 bucks. Waitress was nice and food came out quickly. Thought it was a little pricey. Read more

First time eating at this place. The $1 oysters were good. Salmon entree was good, the rosoto was a little over cooked. I think... because they were rushing to get it out because we had some Togo orders on the same ticket and there was a mess up. Waitresstook care of it and took the salmon entree off the ticket. The beignets were a little too dense, needs to be more airy insideand not enough powder sugar on it at all. Fried oyster were good but small compared to other places.
