Visited this restaurant based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is nothing fancy, and you may prefer... takeout if you want ambiance, but we ate in and the food came out piping hot and delicious. The garlic naan was excellent. Itwas so convenient getting the food in plastic containers so we could easily take home leftovers. The portions are huge. I wouldprefer silverware or at least a large spoon to be able to easily try other dishes (family style). I?ll definitely be back whenI?m in town. Read more
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars, such a gem tucked away, best husband wife duo, I have been to many Indian... restaurant but none had remind me of real Indian food from India taste, being Indian, when you know the real taste Freon India,it?s hard to measure up to that expectation but anup, the chef?s food hits the spot. My husband found this gem on his trip toGeorgia last week and he told me about it and today we made the trip to visit this place and I am in love. Hands down the best authentic Punjabi Food in the entire United States. Reminds me of Panjabi Dhaba/ truck stop in india. Great... service. Great food. Only area of improvement is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The floor and touch screen Register waslittle sticky, but the food and tables were clean the best. This is the best Indian food I have had in a while, and certainly the best option in the area. They offer a perfectly sized menu... with a nice sampling of north Indian favorites. I appreciate that they don?t shy away from serving up spicy food. It?s was arefreshing break from the watered down, sugar-laden gravies of most lunch buffets. The folks working here clearly take a lot ofpride in what they do and it shows in the end product. You can expect a wait, but in our case it was well worth the trip. Thefood was fresh, piping hot, and full of flavor. Side Note: their business is clearly oriented towards take out, so it?s not thebest dine-in experience. Our food was served in plastic containers. My husband and I had a craving for Indian food. We stumbled upon Aroma while perusing Google maps and noticed it was close by.... Based on the reviews, we decided to give it a try. While I have never been to India before, I feel as though my tastebuds weretransported! The food and service were excellent. Highly recommend if you?re in the mood for some great Indian food! Aroma is hands down the best Indian restaurant in Louisiana. I?ve tried a lot of other places but the fresh and powerful flavors... are unmatched. The service is excellent and they are very friendly. This is a place I have to eat at least once a week. Andbonus, they are on UberEats!!!! Read more
