We visited District Kitchen with friends Saturday before visiting ZooLights and had a good visit. We had a reservation and were... quickly seated upon arrival. They had a 3 course fixed price where you could choose a starter, main and dessert for $40. Iordered the 3 course so my husband and I could share an appetizer and dessert, and he ordered an extra entree. For a starter,we had the calamari. Sadly, the calamari was a bit over cooked, but the dipping sauce was good. For my entree, I got the mussels& fries, and they were delish! They give you a very large portion of muscles in a very flavorful green curry sauce. They alsogive you bread which I dipped in the sauce as well. The fries were also great. They were very crispy and were seasoned. Myhusband loved his lamb gnocchi entree. He said it was filling and flavorful. The brownie sundae was our dessert of choice, andit left a lot to be desired. The brownie had more of a dry, cake-like texture. Overall, the entrees and the service was good.Expected a bit more from the appetizer and dessert. We might visit again if we are back in the area. A couple weeks ago, we came to District Kitchen for our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was amazing! From the very beginning of... the planning process, Miguel was fantastic. We rented out the entire restaurant with about 65 people. I think if it was morethan 70 it would be a little crowded, but our size party was perfect. We did an open bar package, and 3 course seated dinner foreveryone - Miguel was very accommodating with the drink options, and put together a great menu. Everything was very reasonablypriced as well. Lastly, the place looked great. District Kitchen is a good looking restaurant to start, but we were blown awayby how nicely it was all decorated for us. Truly a wonderful evening - thank you Miguel and District Kitchen staff! Read more

We just had our Networking Happy hour event there and it was great. The restaurant is very beautiful inside, also clean and well... lit. Staff was very friendly and accommodating of our group of about 20-25 people and kept the drinks flowing and food and appscoming all night. We felt very well attended. I also had the salmon risotto dinner and it was delicious. I definitely recommendand will come back. Don't hesitate to plan your next happy hour event there. Read more

A fun brunch spot, but nothing revelatory. The pork belly sandwich is fantastic, but service can be pretty slow. If you're in no... rush and looking for a mellow brunch on a nice stretch of Woodley Park, District Kitchen is a good pick. Read more
