Went at 11 am on a Saturday. Basically zero food options other than a Lemon pound cake, which I couldn’t get out of the paper... holder. Was a mess to try to get it out. Then I’m trying to get a straw for my coffee and it instantly broke as grabbed it. Igently grabbed another. Broke. Grabbed another insanely gently. Broke. The next I grabbed so so so carefully. Finally got it,put it in the top of my coffee cup. Go to take a sip? Broke. Next thing you know I have no straw cause the thing crumbles.Unable to eat my food and unable to drink my coffee, I must let the people know: 1 star. Read more

Friendly service. Good coffee. A tad on the slow side. I’ll be back. I want to try some of their treats. What is with the... straws that crack when you touch them. Went through 6 before I learned how to not break them ??????????? Read more

A really good cold brew! If you\'re anywhere in the DC area near a Compass Coffee during springtime, then you must try their... Cherry Blossom Cold Brew. This beautiful pink coffee drink has the flavor of cherry vanilla. It\'s a limited offering that isbasically their classic cold brew that is topped with their house-made vanilla and pink cherry blossom syrups. It\'s unique, andvery good. I think the cherry blossom syrup gives it the pink color.\n\nSome of the the other menu items are the mint cold brew, turmeric honey latte, lavender latte, and so much more that may also be seasonal. They have different teas as well. You can alsoget a cold brew growler which I thought was cool. I didn\'t see any K-Cups there, but I ended up purchasing some online just totry the coffee. The Waypoint dark roast coffee is very good. You get free shipping on orders over $35. I would have bought themat the store but I didn\'t see any.\n\nI love the bi-level layout of this shop in Rosslyn. There weren\'t many people there at7:00am. I was told that many people still work at home. But, people are slowly getting back to the morning commute again. I satdownstairs near the fireplace and had a nice view of the city streets. I headed upstairs just to see what was there. It\'s avery large space. Plenty of places to plug in to work, or to study. There\'s even a large room in the back for groups andmeetings. Lots of different types of seating as well.\n\nThis coffee roaster is local to DC, and was founded by 2 Marines soit\'s a Veteran-owned company. I didn\'t know any of this when I was visiting the Rosslyn area. I was just happy to see a localcoffee shop that was close to the Hyatt Centric hotel. A coffee shop that is not the usual Starbucks. A place that makes theirown simple syrup. A good staff who work quickly to get your drink made in a reasonable amount of time. It was a great visit. Read more

My partner loved this coffee and told me it was amazing. He was totally right. Love the coffee and the location. The capuccino... with oat milk was amazing, the second floor was comfortable and spacious with locations to sit down, relax and work (hasoutlets!!!). Had a lovely time on my trip to DC and went all 3 days. Read more

Solid coffee experience. On par with the price point. Compass uses quality flavoring mixes (if that’s your thing) and quality... products and the baristas are highly skilled so your coffee beverage is quality. Wait wasn’t long but there was one with someawkward space to wait, but still not bad. I visit one of their locations whenever I’m in DC and will continue to do so. Read more

Good green tea. Nice ambience. Reasonably priced. Friends I\'m with say the coffee is good too.\n\nThe ham and cheese croissant... was subpar - they don\'t have an oven to warm it up. But the almond croissant was good.\n\nIt’s got a nice modern fireplaceand comfortable seating, with the exception of the metal stools - those are uncomfortable. But overall nice place and goodquality cafe. Read more
