Great indie coffee shop! My au lait and pumpkin muffin were both delicious. Service was friendly and timely. The cafe was fairly... full when I visited, but my drink came out by the time I settled into my seat. It seems to be a popular neighborhood joint formorning coffee and short meetups. Chill atmosphere - Everyone seemed happy to slow down and enjoy their day. Parking - streetparking around the corner, but it's right on the train line. Restroom - Single-stall, All-Gender restroom. Good coffee, delicious pastries, and a chill-but-friendly atmosphere. I wish I lived closer; I only stop by about once a month... when I have to go into my office. Every time I go there the staff is so genuinely friendly and welcoming, and it legitimatelymakes my morning so much better. Read more

Workhorse Coffee is an awesome, independently owned cafe. The owner is fantastic. The coffee (and chai lattes) is delicious.... They have a variety of baked goods and breakfast foods fresh daily. But most of all, the staff genuinely wants to get to knowyou, and to point out fun things to try. During the pandemic, they've made safety a priority and I feel safe entering theirstore. I love this place so much. The owner is so friendly and kind, and knows soooo much about coffee and the service industry. One of... the best lattes I?ve had in recent years. The quiche I had was pretty tasty too! The vibe is pretty industrial with lots of goodlight. I only wish they had more food options. Read more
