1st time ordering and from Doordash. We got the Kung pao chicken(a little spicey than expected but it was delicious) , steamed... dumplings(twice the size of my normal spot), Shrimp fried rice and Teriyaki chicken(very like the ones I make at home). Theportions are larger than my normal spot, not as bland as my normal spot. Definitely got more bang for my buck. I will definitelybe ordering again and recommend South China Island Inn ll. I love the food it is tasty! I dislike SCI food purchase payment plan with cc (all the other restaurants within MN are... accepting cash) give me odd suspicion on using my credit card for their food purchase. You can NO longer go inside therestaurant raise a red flag! Will not get my business because of this the kicker is I have exact change and they still wontaccept cash! This food was delicious! We ordered chicken egg foo yong, chicken with cabbage, lemon chicken and chicken lo mein. The flavor of... the food was amazing. The chicken with cabbage had nice heat to it. Not too spicy - just enough. The lemon chicken is the bestI've had. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone! Read more
The food is excellent. They are still in COVID mode which is the reason for 1 star. They limit in person contact with a... physical barrier just inside the front door. The camera and speaker is how you communicate with the staff when you arrive. Youmust pay by card when ordering by phone or pay and order when you arrive. Recommend you order by calling ahead so you don't haveto stand around outside or in your car while you wait for your food. Read more
