While I liked my dish which is spicy stir fried calamari with vegetables, my husband didn?t like his bibimbap. Honestly we had... better. However, this is a nice small place, with reasonable pricing, but not a place we will go back for more. Banchans wereokay. Service was good. Read more
Amazing food, great service. The food was all super fresh and hot! The Ojingeo bokkeum was cooked to perfection, chewy but not... tough, good variety of head and tentacles, and a great balance of spice and sweet notes. The Korean pancake was hot and supertastey, and the dumplings were top notch. All of the side dishes were yummy. The server was super friendly and attentive, andthey clearly loved being there. Chill Korean restaurant serving up some tasty cuisine. I have never actually had Korean food before, but I have heard great... things about it so I wanted to give it a shot. I loved the older wood seating and round tables. This is what gave it that laidback and homey feeling. If you are looking for parking, try the closest side streets near the building. I went with the beefbulgogi and was blown away by the flavors. The beef was super tender and juicy. I didn't actually know that it came with a bunchof little side dishes and rice, but I was so happy once I started trying them. The rice was cooked perfectly and paired nicelywith the bulgogi. I couldn't remember what the other dishes were besides the kimchi but they all tasted great. My server wassuper friendly and made sure that I left a happy customer. This is definitely my new spot for Korean food, and I will have tomake my way back here soon. Read more
Wonderful! Large portions, dumplings were actually top notch, and bulgogi was done well and fast. The side dishes were also... tasty and just the right amount of spice! Also, the man and lady who run the place are very friendly and homey, you can tellit's their passion. Also they mostly speak Korean but of course English is good as well. Best Korean food in Minnesota. I haven't been here for about 5 years, but it still is one of my favorites to go to. The owners... are also absolutely adorable ????. The two pictures are after we ate most of our food, my apologies lol. We got haemul pajeon,kimchi jjigae, dolsot bibimbap, and some mackerel (not pictured because we inhaled it). I think my favorite was the mackarel! Crispy and salty ????. Kimchi jjigae with pork belly was amazing, probably one of the more flavorful ones I have had. It has anice spice to it but the broth was really warming. Really needed that for the cold day. The pajeon was nice and crispy. Thechunks of seafood was bite size (sometimes I get it and there's just like a giant hunk of something in there). Bibimbap wascrispy and delicious! Sauce went well with it. We almost did not finish it... There was so much food!! Everything wasdelicious... I can't wait to come back here more often ???????????? Read more
