Hidden gem in Roseville First time coming here. I didn't expect to see what I saw when I went to this restaurant because of the... location. It was very open and had a chill coffeeshop vibe to it. We had the classic banh mi and kimchi fries. For the banh mi,I loved the freshness of the bread and how all the different ingredients were super simple but just worked together really well.Just a great standard banh mi for a great price. The kimchi fries was piping hot when it was ready for us. Even with the saucesand the kimchi topping, the fries still had that crunch. Not pictured is the iced passion fruit green tea, which is reallyrefreshing for the summer. I loved all of it. Overall, I've tasted these flavors at other restaurants, but I really appreciatedhow it was all executed here. We didn't wait long for our food - maybe 15 minutes - and we had a buzzer to tell us when the foodwas ready. They had bakery items that we can't wait to try next time we visit. Read more
You MUST eat here ???????? The bread is flakey, crispy, soft, buttery. The special banh mi has egg in it and we HIGHLY ... recommend it. It's easily shareable! The croissants are huge! They are also perfectly flakey and buttery with the perfectamount of filling and the coffee was blended and not too sweet ???? **not pictured: Special Banh Mi sandwich, coconut croissantand Vietnamese iced coffee.....because we smashed it all IMMEDIATELY** Read more
Just too good to be true. It?s been a while since I?ve had a well made banh mi, and this place does not disappoint. Coming from... Washington it?s seriously delicious. Ordered a few sandwiches and loved the quick service (ordered ahead) and cleanliness. Therestaurant smelled really good. Husband got the classic sandwich which he enjoyed, I got the bulgogi kimchi and flavors blendedso well. I also loved the crunch from the baguette. Perfect consistency. Fresh veggies were also perfectly pickled. Grabbed somepastries too (bonus!). Done ranting, go eat here. Read more
Yum yum yum. Easy to find restaurant. The atmosphere is chic and upbeat with lovely plant decor. The staff is super friendly. We... ordered: kimchi bulgogi fries (so freaking good, the sauce and flavors remind me know dynamite sushi rolls), mi sant specialBahn mi and thr mi sand special bowl with noodles. The sandwich reminds me of the fresh ones I had when visiting Vietnam. Highlyrecommend this place, prices are very reasonable and large sizes. Don't be fooled by the photos of the bowls they are about4"deep. Will def be back. And I ordered a red guava/lychee/strawberry bubble tea made with aloe vera- so sooooo good Read more
Amazing food, love their Bahn mi's and spring rolls. I had Mi Sant Special which is pork and was savory and delicious. My friend... had the Bulgogi Kimchi Ban MI which was sweeter and not my favorite but still very good. We split the spring rolls which cameindividually wrapped in plastic. The sant Special spring rolls where Amazing. I got the peanut and vinaigrette sauces, thepeanut sauce was good but the vinaigrette was the way to go IMHO. 2 of the 3 spring rolls exploded while eating them, adding adifferent complexity. Worth the challenge. Based on their website, I thought they were just offering take out but there weresome tables dining in when I picked up my order. Read more
Visited during the soft opening. The orders were a bit behind, but that's to be expected so I didn't take that into account in... my rating. I had a lemon grass chicken bowl with citrus soy sauce. The size of the food for the price was fairly on point forthe area. The ingredients all seemed fresh. The flavors were in point for me. I did have the noodle option with my bowl, butthe noodles seemed a bit water-logged (perhaps that's just the style of noodle). The flavors were good enough that I lookforward to visiting again and seeing how they do. Although, I will probably not get the noodles in the bowl again. Sincewriting the initial review I have gone back multiple times for their croissants. The croissants are consistently baked well, light, and buttery. They have a variety of filling options to choose from. The filling is balanced and doesn't drown out theflavor and texture of the actual pastry. Read more
Love the bowls here and Bahn Mi sandwiches are great too! Meat has that tasty char taste to it with a good balance of Vietnamese... flavors. Don't forget to ask for patte on your sandwich, because they do not come standard on all of the sandwiches. Read more
