First time trying Ethiopian cuisine and I love it! The bread texture thingi was very interesting! However, I was a little... disappointed by the portions I was given for the Doro Wot I ordered. With the "sauce" was 1 boiled egg and a very very tinypiece of drumstick... and I paid $16 for that dish alone (check pictures for reference). I didn't think it was worth what I paidfor, but if you can afford it and want to try it feel free to, we really like how it tasted! Read more

We dined in at this restaurant and ordered the veggie combo platter and lentils. The food was really good, however I don?t think... it was very fresh as the food came out in about 7 minutes. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We love Ethiopian foodand this place did not disappoint overall. Read more

What a wonderful place to eat!! We love the many flavors of Ethiopian food together. We got both the meat and vegetable... combination and it was more then the 4 of us could eat but had so many of our favorites. Would definitely recommend this placeespecially if you have never tried Ethiopian food before. Read more

While I feel bad for posting such a negative review, but the food chicken stew wet was not fresh at all. I 'd recommend people... try this restaurant, though you'll need to keep an open mind if you aren't familiar with the cuisine. Read more

First time trying Demera, and Ethiopian food in general, and I was not disappointed. We ordered the Demera special for two for... takeout, which came with flavorful seared beef, a spicy berbere sauce, and injera, a spongy flatbread with a subtle sour taste.Delicious! Next time I?ll be sure to order some misir wat, or lentil stew, as the beef got to be a little dry. Overall, superbfood and service. The atmosphere is homey and rich, and the owners are lively and kind. Will definitely be back. Read more
