I've been coming to Tubbys since I was a kid. Just got carry out for 3 of us. Ordered mushroom steak n cheese, two steak n... cheese, BBQ wings, onion rings for $50. Guess what? Get home and there's no cheese on our subs! This is the sub you are knownfor. We tried calling and the employees don't even answer the phone. Horrible experience and employees are useless. I got charged for a $15.11 order. My card had $16.11 But my card got declined TWICE. And each time it got declined it charged me... .50 When I looked at my transaction history to see why it was declined, she was charging me for an $18.13 order. Now I'm short adollar for the declines, and the manager insisted that the $3.02 was probably a bank fee for using my card. IVE NEVER HAD A BANKFEE FOR MORE THAN MY EXACT PURCHASE ANYWHERE ELSE. I will never go there again. Very rude service. I go in there and order a tubby's famous with no onions and want yellow... peppers. The kid gives me the receipt and it says steak and cheese with peppers. I tell him that's not my receipt that's notwhat I ordered. And he's going to argue with me back and forth saying that's what I said. I said I swear to God that's not whatI ordered. And told him just to get my money back and I'll go someplace else. Haven't had tubbys sub in 30 yrs. When I was young we used to goto the one at Masonic and Groesbeck which is no longer there. I... still really enjoyed the sub wish I had time to try all my favorites. Read more
We have been coming to this Tubbys since we moved here 20 yrs ago and we've had good food mostly. But yesterday we got the BEST... subs there ever! I got a lg steak and cheese and only ate half. I ate the other half this morning and it was still awesome. The young lady who cooked them up yesterday definitely knows what she's doing! And the other young lady who took our order wasvery nice. I hope they stick around there for awhile. Read more
I've been to this location a few times, usually without any mishap. I placed such a straightforward, simple order, a Stake &... Cheese, toasted with only Steak n Cheese.. no lettuce, onion, nothing but Steak N Cheese with a toasted bread. UNCESSARY APPLIEDeffort to supply me with the sub in the way that they did. NOT TOASTED and lettus spread throughout the sub. Read more
