TLDR: If you want delicious pizza that's highly unique and fresh, go here. -- Whenever I am thinking of great pizza, two places... come to mind. The first being the local pizza spot from UC Merced, and the second, PizzaTwist in Roseville. My family and I areregulars, consistently amazed at the quality of the customer service and familial warmth that we have received ascustomers. PizzaTwist contains all the markers of a great restaurant and establishment, as its imaginative Indian fusion piescreate a food experience unlike anywhere else in the bland monotony of Suburbia's more established names - subway, pizza hut,Mcdonalds, etc.. Furthermore, the array of vegan and vegetarian options that are offered quell any worries about feeding yourfriends or family members that may have diet restrictions. However, no place is without fault! I ventured to try the veganwings, and though the flavor was spectacular, the texture was lacking. I'm unsure what the meat substitute was (if it wassoy-based or other?), however, I would recommend experimenting with Seitan (Vital wheat Gluten), as its a major constituent inmany wonderful meat substitutes -- such as the Field Roast brand (which you can find in the grocery store) -- offering a dense,meaty texture packed with plenty of protein! Great spot. My kid waited and waited for this spot to open. We were surprised it featured Indian pizza. We love Indian food so... it is a real treat. We have tried both the Indian pizza and the regular, prefer the Indian - it is what they are good at, butthe regular was pretty good too. Definitely recommend especially for parents trying to expand their kid's palate or just want tointroduce new flavors and not the same boring pizza over and over. Vegan Pizza is great. Don't care about the Tofu topping since Tofu is best only when you mix it with sauce. It doesn't have... flavor. On the other hand, the crust is crisp but not thick. The taste is amazing considering it is plant based. The owner isvery friendly and welcoming. The dine in area is so nice. You feel like you are in a hotel lobby. Very bright and nice. I triedthe Tika Masala pizza and it will not dissapoint you. Bold taste, spicy and perfect crust. Go check them out! Read more
