I'm not into Sushi that much, and I only do rolls that don't have raw fish. This place is our go to when we do feel like it. I... had the Jerry Roll and the Zig Zag Soft Shell Crab Roll! Read more

Attentive service and superb food! Easy to order exactly what you want, they are very flexible and accommodating, which is... helpful when you have food restrictions. Prices similar to other sushi places. Sesame chicken was tasty. Illegal asparagus wasvery flavorful, especially with the special sauce! I got a custom Avocado and tempura sweet potato roll. Perfect! So delicious!Shared some of the garlic edamame -- so good! Garlicky flavor with just a touch of cilantro. Yum! This was my first visit, andI gotta say it lived up to it's excellent reputation. After the lunch rush around 1:30 - 2:00 pm would be a good time to popin! Enjoy! Read more

First time going to Mikuni and I loved it. The food was delicious and my mojito drink. The food was delivered fast and our server... was polite and nice. We waited 45 minutes to get seated. The location was not our favorite. Read more

I love the food and customer service at this location. They have the best lobster roll and the tofu too. I asked for a side of... avocado and they was a hair inside, the server helped me with excellent attitude and solve the problem right the way. Willdefinitely come back here again and highly recommend this place for sushi Read more

The food was good. The waiter needed more training. Party of 5 celebrating a birthday. It was busy as usual. He didn't check... on us much, drinks got empty and his follow up was lacking. For example. I asked for chili oil, he said he'd check and nevereven came back with a reply about that. Good thing I didn't wait for it to have my miso soup. After that I didn't bother toask other things. One of our orders came with a salad...that person ordered a salad. Rather than letting him know at the timeof order that the entire had that already, he took the order and brought out the salad. That person was really disappointed andthen there was wasted food because he didn't need two orders of salad. We would have been much happier had he advised himinstead so that he could decide if he wanted two salads. These seem like small things, many small things make up a good or badexperience. Out of the ordinary for Mikuni and left me disappointed with this visit. Read more

Honestly, the only thing I need to say is amazing. Every single dish we had was delicious. Not a single one of us had anything... to say other than "so freaking good!" Visit Mikuni's next time you're in Roseville, you won't regret it! Read more

Very busy, but staff were quick and plentiful. My favorite non-raw item is the zig-zag roll - YUM! I have yet to try the raw... stuff until later. Would definitely return! I would not recommend the cheesecake dessert. It?s served warm and wrapped in thicktortilla. Read more

This review is for takeout only. Arrived around 3pm on a Saturday. It was still packed and getting a table would take at least... 30 minutes. I wasn?t planning on dining in, but heard another customer ask. I wanted to take out food for dinner with my parentsat home. The to-go menu was hard to read as it had a lot of stuff. It took me at least 5 minutes to go through and finallydecide on what I wanted to order. The cashier said it may take an hour, but at the moment, it could be 45 minutes. I was okaywith that. I planned to visit the newly opened One Milk Tea next door anyway. 45 minutes later I was back for my order, and itwasn?t ready. I had to wait over an hour for it, but at least they warned me about that. I asked how many pieces were in thesashimi combo. Our cashier went to ask the sushi chef, but after a discussion, the cashier came back to tell us that the chefrecommended chirashi as the number of pieces were about the same, and it included sushi rice. I was not so sure about that, butgave them the benefit of the doubt. The presentation of Chirashi was great. The sashimi quality was okay, but my wife felt thatthe sashimi combo pieces would have been bigger. I would probably agree with her. The rolls were good, but smaller than I hadimagined. I forgot to take a photo of Mel?s roll, but its taste was not bad. The calamari had no flavor and the included saucewas much needed. The portion of karaage was so small that when I opened the box, it looked like someone had already taken somepieces. The overall taste was not bad, but given the portions, the wait, and the location of the establishment (distance away),I don?t think I will be back. Read more
