Stopped by for lunch. We were celebrating a win and thought this would be a fun addition to the day. Really wanted to like it.... Was excited to see fried okra and other items on the menu. The server was unfriendly and seemed to be put off with having toserve us. The food was not great at all. Very underwhelming. The appetizers looked like apps that are bought in bags in thefreezer section of your local discount grocery store. Additionally, the apps were burnt and thrown on the plate haphazardly. Wedidn't complain as it would have further changed the mood of the day and judging from the service didn't feel it would changeanything. It was disappointing overall. We won't return. Read more
The service was great. The food was fantastic as well. We ended up being seated right by the kitchen door, which made a... conversation very difficult. I will definitely go back, but ask for a different table. Read more

Delicious. Excellent service from the deep voiced head waiter (Mgr? Owner?). Not crowded and you could hold a conversation... without having to yell over thumping music. Brisket was super tender and the sauce very good without being sticky or over sweet.The potato salad WA was the bomb. Read more
This review is for the 2 times we ordered here since COVID began!! The first order was delivered to us and it wasn?t even our... order. I ordered the family meal and instead we get two sandwiches, called the restaurant and the girl on the phone said yeah Iknow and didn?t offer any type of compensation for the mix up. Considering I spent over $60 for a meal and got 2 cheaply madesandwiches so lost money there. Now on to the 2nd order, now yes it is a Doordash order but that is NO excuse at all. This hadto do with the amount of money I spent for a family meal and got enough food for maybe 2 small children and the price was wellover $60.00. The food was plain in taste and the Tri-tip was really dry and over cooked that my husband and I didn?t even touchit, we threw it in the trash. We have eaten here many times before COVID hit and it was great but not after COVID it?s terribleand way overpriced for what you get in portion size!!! It?s really sad that this restaurant has taken such a horrible turn inservice and in food taste that it?s not going to last if they don?t get their act together!! Plain and simple!!! BTW: The olderlady at the counter was extremely rude and disgusting person to customers that I won?t order from here again!!! I ordered the French Dip sandwich with fresh roasted turkey. Got smoked, pressed Turkey meat (the kind you get in the grocery... store from oscar meyer) for a $17 sandwich NOT to have real fresh roasted turkey is a complete RIP-off. We spend a lot of moneysupporting local businesses and this is my first bad restaurant review. I gave 2 stars because the rest of the order (2 tritips) was good for the others that ate. Price doesn't equal quality. I ordered a brisket sandwich, no taste. The Beef ribs were way below average. The BBQ beans were... horrible and Mac n cheese awful. On the other hand. The garlic mash potatoes were good and corn bread was good as well. Thereis no substitute for slow cooked in a pit compared to an oven. Read more
