In my opinion, Pescado is the best restaurant in Rosemary! The food and drinks are delicious, the ambiance is spectacular and... the service has always been five star. Some things worth noting, you 100% need to make a reservation! The restaurant is fairlysmall so I would not expect to just walk in, especially with a large party or during peak season. If possible, I highlyrecommend making a reservation a little before sunset. The views are amazing and it?s beautiful watching the sun set over thebeach! This is an upscale experience so dress accordingly and expect to pay a pretty penny. My favorite app are the sticky ribs(they?re spicy to beware!) and my favorite side is the Mac and cheese! All the entrees I?ve had are amazing and truly, you can?tgo wrong with any of the choices. This year we came for brunch and had such a wonderful experience! The live music was a cherryon top. Visited with my mother for Sunday brunch. It?s a good thing the ambiance is on point because the food can best be described as... ?underwhelming?. Our waitress, Michelle, was fantastic. Could not ask for better service. We ordered Chicken & Waffles, LobsterGrilled Cheese & Breakfast Potatoes. What I was most disappointed in was my sandwich. Because it is not a grilled cheese. It isin fact ?a lobster sandwich with cheese?. Had I known, I would have ordered differently. Because of the atmosphere, service &location, I?ll go back. We stumbled upon the rooftop bar and ended up dining there. Great views and we were there for sunset. Definitely worthwhile.... Brief wait, with no reservation. We stayed at the bar lounge on the ground floor and listened to music and had a drink. Food wasexcellent. We tried a variety of appetizers and entrees. All were well flavored. Enjoyed a Sunday brunch on our initial visit. Very nice facility. I recommend trying to reserve a table outside on the rooftop,... overlooking the ocean. Nice ambiance. I enjoyed the music performed by Jamah Terry. Our table had the Filet Benedict andTraditional Benedict with Breakfast Potatoes, Fried Green Tomatoes, and the Lobster Grilled Cheese. Typically, Pescado is the highlight of our trips to Seaside/Rosemary. Our insider ?secret? is to forego with the otherwise... mandatory reservations and instead opt to wait for rooftop seating. The evening view is spectacular and well worth the wait.Unfortunately due to weather factors beyond their control (high winds) we waited TWO hours only to find that the plasticcoverings had been lowered and in effect we were dining inside without a view. Sigh. Anyway, the wait was actually thehighlight of the evening as the bartender/waitress made the best Manhattan?s and Old Fashions. The piano player played all ourrequests (except a more recent Post Malone song) and made the wait fun. The food was pretty much spot on. The Chateaubriand waswonderful, as were the scalloped potatoes and broccolini. And the molten brownie was worth all the extra carbs. Beautiful restaurant and a wonderful place to see the sunset. We made a reservation for inside, but the views are still amazing... as there are walls of windows. The sun shining in can be tricky, but the staff was happy to help. Summer was an excellentserver and took great care of us. The food was great. Our favorites were the seafood platter, ribs and chimchurri shrimp. Thebar looks to be a great place to dine for 2?for next time. Read more
