Stood in take out line for 47 minutes and watched person after person just walk in and get in that line? I finally asked hostess... about it and she, very snotty like, replied, we?re taking care of it?seems like they prefer people to sit vs take out, yet therewere no tables? they lost out because I was ordering for 12 people, but I guess they don?t care! Love this place. Every time we come to 30A we have to get their kids chicken tenders (aka shark fins) and sweet potato fries and... whatever fish sandwich is on special! Steve?s always there and the kids love him. Definitely a must-visit! Read more

The man was nice. Food was okay. On the contrary the waitress / bartender most definitely lives up to the crabby name. Was... extremely rude and continued to act like I was stupid- and to top it all off; assumed I was an unaccompanied minor & forced the20% gratuity rule on me without any warning or hesitation. 10/10 will not be coming back. Great spot. Exclusive to High Point guests or beach walk ups. Great fresh local catch served up alongside the classics (burger,... shrimp, etc) ate here all week with a large family and 0 disappointments. Cocktail menu is deep and delicious. Blackberry pinacolada was a hit. Steve is the epitome of a great small business owner. Ever present, first to arrive bringing in the fish forthe day, entertaining for the kids and guests. The food was decent. It wasn?t anything to shout about and I found it a little pricey for a grilled sandwich with standard,... crinkle cut fries. The bartender and wait staff were friendly, but I have to agree with many of the reviewers who say the drinkpours are quite light. Thankfully, I didn?t find them outrageously priced, so I?m not that bothered by it. They do, however,have a selection of local craft and domestic beers. I would return, but I do wish they had a fried fish on the menu. If you?restaying at High Pointe, it?s worth a trip for a quick lunch when you need a break from the beach. Read more

I got the cuban sandwich here and it was really good. It wasn't made with the traditional bread and they will tell you that when... you order it but it was amazing. Seriously get the cuban and the fries were amazing as well. Great place just off the beach toeat at. Read more

I just noticed Mr. Griffin's review of Crabby Steve's; note that this is Crabby Steve's. Regardless if the owner is in a good... mood or is in a frustrated mood does not take away from the Excellence of the food found at this perfectly located restaurant.Not only has my experience at this restaurant been excellent from the wait staff, to the owner to the quality of the food anddrinks, but I think it says a lot about a place when they remember you from last summer and Summers before.
