My family always eats in or orders food from the dinner. Like every restaurant, sometimes food it?s not same like us not... everyday are the same. Overall, which I think we have to evaluate, it?s good, parking is good, servers are pretty much all thesame people and one of the owners ( Douglas became our friend) he always come to customers table and always welcome our family.I do love this place and highly recommend it. Been out of state for 10 years in a state that doesn't know a diner from a donut! Moved back Jersey and first thing stopped at... my favorite diner and it's better than its ever. Chris was our waiter and he was excellent! Can't wait to go back. Read more
Sunrise diner is great. The food is always good. Very good breakfasts and lunches. Their dinners are excellent and you get large... portions. Their prices are also very inexpensive. In this day and age it is really great to eat out and not have to pay anexorbitant amount of money . Try it... you won' be sorry Read more
Never ordering food here again, after placing my order, they proceeded to bring me the wrong order. I spoke to them nicely and... asked if there was any way it could be changed and the guy told me it had been already made so there was basically no way togive me what I asked for. After multiple times of me asking if there was any possible way he could change it, he finally changedit and when I got my order back it was still wrong. So it was my first time here and last . So we were seated quickly and the booths are very tight lol so if your chubby like me... your belly will be squished . So the waiter kept coming over like 4 times to ask if we knew what drinks we wanted which got alittle annoying because we were trying to figure out what we wanted as we were not familiar with the menu . So we ordered theappetizers and we were trying to eat them but as we were eating they rushed out the other food which isn?t always a bad thingbecause people are hungry or other places make you wait a very long time but I felt so rushed because the table got crowded andwe didn?t even finish the appetizers as the other food arrived which was going to get cold . The French onion soup wasn?t thatgood it?s very watery and clear you can see through it . The French fries were good they were crispy . The Cuban sandwich wasvery very dry and bland I had to add salt and pepper to it . The chicken fingers were yummy . The mozz sticks was okay . Overall food wasn?t that good not terrible but not worth the price . Waiter dropped food off and didn?t come check on us and sotherefore I left a very small tip and got questioned by a lady at the register in front of store and got asked why I was leavingthe tip I left . Great service. On a busy Sunday morning, Anastacio was a great server, making sure to check up on us every 5-10 minutes and... provide quick service. The food was ready within 10 minutes and it was all great. Chris, the man at checkout, was very friendlyand energetic. Overall, great atmosphere and great food. Read more
My husband ordered a large chicken noodle soup to go. Upon inspection, he was give soup that had a few shards of chicken, no... noodles at all. He was given chicken broth with celery , carrots and onions. I called to let them know about what was served,he offered to make it right by having my husband drive back, not happy about that, we live in town and it could have beendelivered. Usually very happy with food and service, not this time. Folks check your order before leaving. Read more
Absolutely the best. Great food, great service, great prices, great atmosphere. My parents have been coming here forever,... especially after church on Sunday. Moved to Colorado for 10 years and just moved back, man how I miss these great Jerseydiner's. Read more
