I ordered my birthday cake here in hopes of getting what I wanted but I got everything BUT that. My cake from the outside was... beautiful but the inside was SO disappointing. All I asked for was a simple yellow cake with ONE layer of dulce de Leche and theother layer with white whipping cream with peaches. What did I cut into? A yellow cake with TWO layers of dulce de leche with NOwhipping cream or peaches. Words can?t describe how disappointing and upsetting this, ruined my birthday honestly. I can?tfigure out how if you wrote down exactly what I wanted HOW do you get it so wrong? Will definitely NEVER purchase anotherbirthday cake from here again. Read more
5 stars isn't enough for this bakery. They deserve like a million stars. I've ordered quite a few personalized birthday cakes... and I have not been disappointed. I have sent them pictures to duplicate and they have done an amazing job every single time.And the cake itself is to die for. I aways get a lot of compliments on how beautiful and tasty the cake is. Every specialbirthday has been a success thanks to a memorable beautiful tasty cake made by Pinho's. I have yet to find a bakery as good andaffordable as Pinho's. You have to try this place. This place is great. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and I love this place. Their breakfast food is delicious as their... footlong sandwiches which I have purchased and their soups are tasteful. I tasted the coconut bread loaf and it is scrumptious.Their breads rolls cakes pastries donuts bagels and well known custard cups are heavenly. My son loves their Bread Lovers so itsa given I pick up a loaf when I head over to Brooklyn! Read more
Pinhos Bakery is the best! I ordered specialty cookies for my son?s graduation party, and unfortunately we had to cancel and... reschedule due to covid. Best EGG CUSTARD CUPS in Jersey. The TRES LECHES CAKE is to die for. Growing up in the Bronx we'd always get our birthday cakes... from VALENCIA'S on 138th in Hunts Point. This TRES LECHES CAKE here at Pinho's has that same kinda strawberry and pineapplefilling and tastes fresher and better than what we'd eat growing up. My definite go to spot for ANY kindacelebration/party/event. This place was recommended to me about 3 years ago and I can honestly say they offer a larger variety so there is something for... everyone and all occasions. Since then I have used them for custom orders, neighbors gifts for holidays, and treats for guest onwhen visiting others. Great service and delicious cakes. Read more
Above average Bakery. Extremely large variety of pastries (Portuguese and Italian), cakes, cookies. But they also carry cold... cuts and make sandwiches, panini and other food. There are tables inside and outside. Parking can be a little difficult, but aside street is usually available. I really liked the mini-canni and chocolate cream puffs. Read more
