We stopped here on our trip and had a great time. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxing and the staff were all friendly... and pleasant. We were not very hungry so we ordered only one dish to share. We had the ribeye steak, which they recommended. The meat was tender and the salad was very reasonable for $32. What a hidden gem! A month in town and no idea what a neat downtown area. And nestled in a mix of quaint kitchy shops is Brix... Grill. First visit for breakfast. Avocado toast, topped with medium well egg, hollandaise and micro greens. A bargain at $9.00!! Absolutely delicious!! Constant flow of ice watter and hot coffee. What a delight. 5 minute wait to be seated. Place 90%packed which tells me the place to be for breakfast. The menu includes a grilled salmon bowl that sounds amazing too. This is a very nice, old world stile restaurant with a comfortable, family friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was good, with a... tender slice of ham and eggs & hash browns cooked perfectly. I had the biscuit with a side of gravy and both were good, thoughnot the best I've had. The coffee was weak but tasted okay. Service is friendly and efficient. I would recommend the Brix. Read more
