If you eat at a pop-up tent at a Strasburg Rail Road event (like, say, Day Out with Thomas) vs eating in the restaurant, pay in... cash. You'll go through the self-service line gathering your own hamburgers and hot dogs and fries and drinks, the cashier willtell you a total, then he'll tap the 15% tip button before giving you the credit card device. (P.S. The $8 cheeseburger isn't $8good.) Read more
VERY MISLEADING! Photos and menu show fine dining and all they had was "gas station quality" burgers, fries and Tyson chicken... nuggets. Hate to leave a bad review but came here and literally thought we were at the wrong place. I don't know if theychange their menu weekly or what, but their internet presence is NOT what you're getting... at all! Nice on the inside,seemingly clean. Go to wawa instead. Read more
The food here is great! The smash burger is delicious and the fries are nice and crispy. It's small, so both times we've eaten... here we've sat on the front porch. It has tables that you can eat at or a high top ledge that gives you a nice few of the traincoming and going. The children's meal came with apple slices and fries, so my child was happy. Read more
I watched total renovation of this restaurant and it's much easier to say that it's all new because it is and it is... fantastic we ordered the rotisserie chicken dinner take home the other night and it was so good and so flavorful that weordered our families Thanksgiving meal from the restaurant the food is so fresh it is so flavorful words can't describe how goodit is you miss eating in this restaurant or getting a grab-and-go meal to take home you have missed train This is a very longoverdue change for the Strasburg railroad and it is so welcome and look forward to getting or next meal for the family fromhere food is fresh the place is clean everybody is professional this is a must go to when you're in town Read more
Good food and location. You get to watch the train while you eat which is enjoyable but also loud.
