We had our wedding there July 22nd 2022 and it could not have been better. Our bridal assistant Vicky was amazing. She made sure... we ALWAYS had a drink in our hands and never had to go to the bar. She helped bustle my dress and got us food at cocktail hour.Our bridal sweet was amazing, they brought us lots of food up there and champagne as we had a large wedding party. It was a veryhot day so they let people take breaks and go inside when we did our pre pictures. The ceremony by the lake was breathtaking andthey did a great job setting up the main room. Everyone raved about the food! I have never been to a wedding with more optionsto eat and better food. Our MatrieD was Robert and he made sure everything was in check and got every detail. We did theirvendor package and couldn?t have been happier with it. Every vendor we worked with was amazing and saved us so much time nothaving to plan. Our DJ was incredible and a great MC himself. This venue was perfect. I had my wedding this pass June. The staff was so professional. The ceremony by the lake was... breathtaking. The decor in the reception area is so beautiful that you don?t even have to go all crazy with a bunch of flowersor big ole center pieces. The part is, it?s a one wedding at a time venue. We got married at windows on the lake 6/11/22. We have mixed feelings. Overall the event was beautiful and everyone had a great... time. That being said, there were a few things I wish were better. Dana and Danielle are fabulous! Our bridal manager Mike (whowe loved and booked the venue with) either quit or got fired and they changed our coordinator without even telling us. His namewas Bill, who has an act for cutting you off mid sentence and was rude. When we had our final meeting for payment I brought mytwins. One of my girls pulled a folder off of the table and I apologized profusely multiple times. He completely ignored myapology and said nothing. When we had to move our wedding because of COVID we were forced to pay extra per person to move it tothe next year even though having a wedding wasn't even an option at the time. We booked a vendor package through them for over13 grand and there were surprise fees they forgot to mention. We got a ride home from our parents because they wanted an extra$50 to drive us to the hotel that was 12 minutes away. We also didn't have an assistant for our photographer because that was anextra $200. (believe me my photos were definitely impacted because of this) The day of the wedding, I found myself having to goto the bar to get my own drink, margaritas are my favorite and they were horrible. We paid for top shelf liquor but I watchedthe bartender make my drink with house liquor. My bridal attendant was fabulous, catered to my every need. We waited for whatfelt like forever to get introduced into the receptions because they were "waiting for some people to come inside". The way Ilook at it, if they aren't inside then they don't need to see the introduction. The food was really good!!! but THE WAY THEYSERVE DINNER WILL CUT INTO YOUR DANCE TIME!!!! We just had our daughters Sweet 16 this weekend. Our experience with Windows on the Lake was incredible. The staff went above... and beyond to make sure she had a spectacular night and let all of her expectations and more.
