Food is definitely worth the price. Everything was good, fresh, hot and well seasoned; from the fried green tomatoes, fried... gizzards, to the crab cakes and fried liver. This was our first time but will definitely be back when we are in the area. Willtry the shrimp and wings next time. This is my first time eating here. I got my order to go, Philly cheese steak with fries and a order of fried mushrooms. The... staff was very polite and on point with service. Cheesecake bites were brought around to the costumers while I was there. When Igot back to work and opened my meal I was very pleased with the quality of food and even more pleased with the taste. First time, was really impressed. I forgot to take pictures until after we'd eaten half of our food, so there was twice as much.... WAY more than we expected for the price. Fried green tomatoes were incredible, especially with the remolade. Chicken livers weremoist, crab cakes were cooked well. Red beans and rice were surprisingly delicious (I have high standards for Cajun food, mostplaces don't come close). Definitely a new favorite lunch/dinner choice. Read more
