Unique and family friendly place. Great burgers, salads, and a meat and 3 selection. Just a fun and quirky experience and yummy... food. The owner is a great guy that loves his customers. The team of waitresses... and the ones cooking the food (you can watchthem work) were like busy bees and they seemed very focused on turning out some good food tor their guests. Read more
I heard from a friend this was the best burger ever. So of course I went. Beef is fresh ground everyday, do I need to... continue? The burger meat was amazing quality. The fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles made this a great burger. The PhillyCheese steak, I have to say its been 20+ years since I had one, but tried this one and OMG! The steak, mushrooms, cheeze,peppers and bun SPOT ON. The atmosphere is really cool, besides the planes. If you get a chance to meet the owner, pleasereach out and say hello. He's an amazing person to talk with. Place is clean, bathrooms, eating area, etc. Ton's of seatingand parking. If you're in Rome, GA or close by, GO, will will not be disappointed. Read more
Great people! We stayed here through harvest hosts and had the opportunity to both meet with Sam and eat at the restaurant. To... say that these folks a are friendly is an understatement. Sam is a genuine guy and we were glad to hear his story. Thanks forwelcoming a few Canadians for the night. Hoping to return someday! Read more
Wonderful purple heart restaurant. I loved the tribute to our country and our service members. I had to try the Sam burger. I... enjoyed it. Unfortunately it was the last thing I ate before getting puking sick when I got home later. Not sure what happened,but two days later feeling a little better. Waitresses were very nice. Would have been a 5 star experience for me had I notgotten so sick. Keep up the sweet hospitality. Read more
The Volkswagen bus with air plane wings is what caught our eye. We like stopping at new places. The food and service was really... good. Met the owner Sam, he is Very interactive with his customers and making sure things are good. The whole inside walls ofthis little place are decorated with pictures of past and present Veterans. It is a truly touching place to visit. If you knowof a veteran, take them here to eat and to say hi to Sam. Read more

A wonderful place to visit! The food was great & the staff friendly. I stopped because of how cool the outside looks but the... inside is just as awesome. I love the Walls of Honor with all the veteran pictures and the newspaper articles on the entry waywalls. I ordered the Philly and it was really good but my husband got the burger and let me try it. I wish I had gotten that.The burger was SO good. It is easy to see why this place was voted "best burger". Definitely recommend. Read more
We really enjoyed this place! We stayed 2 nights in our RV as part of the Harvest Host program. We enjoyed Sam?s food twice.... Both times were delicious! My husband is a veteran. They took his photo and included it on the Veterans Hall of Fame Wall. Makesthis place even more special. Read more
