They usually do really well... however, the restaurant has a sewer smell like the gas is backing up and smelling up the place.... The fajitas were lacking in steak and swimming in grease.. I know this place can do better.. please fix these issues so we cancome back. Read more

We came here for lunch. The server took awhile to take our order. We had a question about the menu, after that the server... disappeared. It's very disappointing to notice that other folks get service but your own kind wouldn't. We respectfully got upand paid for the drinks and chips. It took the cashier 5 minutes to ring up 2 drinks and chips. Come on! We didn't want to bethose people to walk out without paying for the soft drinks and chips. Thanks for the unexpected experience. Oh my gosh, this food was the absolute BOMB!!! I saw this restaurant but never really ventured to try it; that is until in-laws... came into town and wanted to take me out to eat for my birthday. The restaurant feels so lively and festive, with just enoughbusy to distract you, but just enough ambience to keep you comfortable. In layman's terms, it is like going to grandma's houseto eat Sunday dinner and all the relatives popped over BUT everybody is civil! And just like grandma's, the food is by far thebest Mexican food I've ever tasted!! But let me step back a bit, because I'm getting ahead of myself! First off, I must brag onthe menu. I love that the menu had everything wonderfully sorted and the pictures of certain meal options made it a breeze topick what you wanted! That is one pet peeve I had about other restaurants, especially in other languages, because I normallyused the pictures and description to get an idea what the dish most likely will be without bugging the host/hostess with athousand questions. Sample pictures depicted what a dish will look like for entire sections, making it easy to literally pick ameal based on picture alone! Now for the service. The hostess that served us was so intuitive and on point, that at one time Ithought she was reading our minds or something. And when the food came out, it was so hot, it looked like it was pulledstraight from the skillet to the plate!!! I squealed like a little schoolgirl seeing that food sizzling on the plate!! Andwith a man's mug of beverage to wash it down, I was ready to go to town! But oh, Las Palmas doesn't just get points for thefood alone! Again, the atmosphere makes this restaurant THE PLACE TO EAT AT in Rome for high quality Mexican food ANDexperience!! As we ate, we had a party of customers that were obviously celebrating a birthday. They were loud and happy, andhaving a festive town. Suddenly, the hosts and hostesses crowd around their table, and with festive cheer, Read more

Always outstanding! Superb customer service. Staff always fast and friendly. The food is very good, always served hot, fresh... and always exceeds our expectations! My absolute fav is the Texas Fajitas with the chicken, steak and shrimp! My husband alwaysenjoys the beef tacos and burritos. We love this Mexican Restaraunt chain. So far the locations, both in Rome and Cartersvillehave been equally pleasant! I must also add, that both the outside and inside decor is quite lovely. Every time we visit wenotice something different and beautiful. This time this beautiful sun caught our eye! Excellent Interior Decorator! Thank youfor not only offering amazingly tasty menu options, but also gorgeous pieces of southwestern flare for those of us who love andappreciate such things! Read more
