Updated Review: Original review: Food is good but have to agree with other reviews that this place is overpriced. $16 with tip... for RC and three tacos. The local grocery stores have equal to if not better quality tacos burritos with specials. This placehas no lunch specials and combos. FOOD Was Good but for these prices I'd check out Rosie's or Los Laureles to save some money. Idon't think they'll survive with these prices.......UPDATE: Owner is not responding to reviews that criticize expensive menu.Just updated my review after seeing them only respond to 5 star reviews. Add some lunch specials guy. Update: They did finallyadd some lunch specials I have not tried them yet. I have increased it from 2 to 3 stars because the food is not bad but I willhave to go and try their lunch specials. Read more
We love this place! Authentic Mexican cuisine. Wonderful service. Lots of good vegetarian options. Great for fast carry out... too. Large patio and you don?t feel crowded. It?s a nice option for outdoor dining if you want to get away from crowds indowntown Arlington Heights. Read more
Great atmosphere, amazing food with Vegetarian Options. The Soy Al Pastor is A++ ! To the people complaining about a 50 cent... over charge, should probably Just stick with Taco Bell. We had lunch there today and it was fabulous their Guacamole is superb the best I?ve had in ages!!! I got the carne asada... quesadillas, yummy ???? The food is delicious their chips are fresh and I mean fresh their salsa is delicious not toospicy.. And the flan, oh my it is to die for.. my friend had a different dessert, it was ice cream inside of a deep fried shellthat looked like a lotus flower! Just amazing ???? We came here thinking we were going to Pepe's, and were surprised to find that it was long gone :( However, we were in for a... treat :) Sabroso is a hidden gem! Our waiter was excellent and attentive, bringing us a basket of THE BEST tortilla chips-made in house, btw- and a round of mango margaritas that were delicious. Lunch was equally as good, served with practically nowait and piping hot! I agree the pricing is a bit high ($13 for a 3 taco plate w/ beans, rice & salad), but I believe you payfor what you get- Fresh, authentic Mexican food served fast and hot. If I had to fuss about something, it would be that theirmenu is limited (don't expect a large book of choices). We had a great time enjoying the warm day on their patio- We'll beback! Read more
The food, service and atmosphere were great but I was a little shocked by the bill. $3 for a side of sour cream, $10 for a... margarita, $6 for a bottle of Corona. This may be silly but the menu said enchiladas were $13 and they charged me $13.52.Actually everything had extra change added to price (I think the sour cream was actually $3.12) Also, they were not able tosplit the check. Seeing other reviews that this was a credit card surcharge annoys me even more because I paid cash! Read more
3 stars because they over charged for everything on the bill. For whatever reason the $13 taco dinner was 13.52 on the bill. I... thought maybe they were splitting up the tax but nope. The tax was charged at the bottom of the bill. And a small Marg was $9but they charged me 9.36. And 3.12 for a side of sour cream! I have to say the food was good and during our meal we said we'dcome back but then the bill came. I hate to complain over change but I think the price on the menu should be the price on thebill. I went there for lunch and it was wonderful! We sat on the patio which was very nice. Service was good. I liked the fresh... tomatoes in the salsa, the chips were good and crisp. I had enchiladas with beef, and they were very flavorful. Not spicy, butlots of flavor! I will definitely be returning! Read more
