It hit the spot. - My favorite food was definitely the steak ???? tacos flavor/seasoning with authentic... salsas and the chopped salad had a very fresh taste. - The vibe was homey with the TV running in the background. - Decent sizedparking lot. - Low noise level and just overall pretty peaceful to sit down and enjoy a steak or chicken dinner. - Lots ofvariety for everyone in the menu as well. - Will come again ? Whole family has been under the weather, so we wanted feel good comfort food. This was exactly what we needed and even the kids... who haven?t had much appetite happily ate it all. Chicken was perfect, sides were flavorful and lots of variety. We will be backand glad we found this place! Read more

Sorry, I have to give this place a big fat NO. I ordered the chicken and ribs combo. The ribs have to be the worst ribs I have... EVER tasted. Like they were 2 weeks old. Tough and no sauce on them. Chicken was so-so. Not up to my standard of getting tastyfood. The place is like a cafeteria where you pick your food. I won't be back. Read more
By far, BEST RIBS I HAVE EVER TASTED! It was quick and delicious, the ribs comes off the bone which was amazing, the shrimp was... amazing, potato salad bomb! I gave it a 4/5 only because my boyfriend and I personally didn?t like their mashed potato?s, cornbread or Mac and cheese. Mash potato?s tasted instant, Mac and cheese tasted off and the corn bread was dry. Other than that Iwill definitely come back especially for the price and ribs! :) Read more
Started paleo dieting from past one month. Hence, was looking for some good grilled chicken around Arlington heights. Tried the... rotisserie chicken we get in Jewel Osco. They smelled very bad after a bite for some reason even after reheating it with somegarlic and onions. Threw two of them entirely. Google review suggested me this place - Hickory Roasters. Wanted to try thegrilled chicken here. Ordered a thigh and two sides. It also came with a muffin. To be honest, the chicken did not smell at all.The piece was very succulent. The sides of green beans and cucumber salad were great. Ended up ordering two whole chicken fortake away. The ambience wise it's a small and cosy place. The downsides being 1. Asked to replace muffin(being in diet) withgreen beans and it came little with a grumpy face from the worker. 2. The people at the restaurant who serve you are mostlypoker faced for some reason. If not for the workers, i would have rated them 5 stars but i would definitely visit them again andagain. Finally found a place where i can get a healthy and tasty chicken. Read more
Came here last weekend and had a pleasant experience I even brought a couple friends to try it. Not sure who the guy was in the... front the morning of 10/28 around 10:30.. from the moment we came in he seemed inconvenienced that we came in. The restaurantwas also empty. When we were ordering he rushed us and I couldn?t decided what side I wanted to he slammed the plate down. Totop it off, he coughed right after and did not cover him mouth... Everything after that was a disappointment, we were stillthere and he rushed to get his food to eat and sat behind us with the cashier. I?m assuming he was hangry? Chicken tasted oldand my friend got the chicken sandwich and the bread was super hard. I used to really like this place, but I guess management/owners no longer care. Will not be returning here.
