Reviews for Creme De La Crepe Rolling Hills in Rolling Hills Estates, CA
Food was great. A little difficult to find if you're following Google Maps. Small, little cafe setting. I came in a large group... (20-ish) with reservations, and they sat us immediately, had our food out when promised (pre-ordered), and were very sweet.Great service. Read more
Went for a weekend lunch and it was excellent. I ordered the veggie panani + soup combo; I highly recommend their tomato basil... soup as it pairs well with their paninis and sandwiches. The panini bread itself was so soft and light, and adds a lot of flavorthat complements the veggies, which were fresh and ripe. They had a small, but diverse, section of beers on tap and plenty ofother drinks. Seating was spacious and parking was readily available. Definitely recommend as a tasty, affordable spot in the PVarea. Read more
The sweet crepes were delicious. I liked the tomato soup too. It is a clean place and has a good ambience. We tried the vegan... pasta and vegan savory crepes. To be honest I felt they were a little bland, but I loved the desert. I would definitely go againjust for deserts. Read more
Loved the Saumon Buckwheat Crêpe and latte. The customer service was amazing. I would of gave it 5 stars, but my fries were... over cooked. I specifically asked for soft fries instead I had the opposite ??????????? I will definitely go back and give thefries another try. Read more
Went here for live jazz on a Friday night and had such a great time! If you like lounging in an elegant bar with cappuccinos and... plenty of room, this is the place to be. The crepes are, of course, spectacular. Their namesake is a little rich for me, butthe lemon-flavored one was wonderfully flavored. The real test of any cafe is in its cappuccinos, and this place does notdisappoint. It's a bit sweeter than normal, but the beans themselves are heated just right. Good and stable foam, too. Very understaffed, we waited quite a while before being helped and were given the wrong bill. Staff are pretty frantic and... there was literally only one cook + the manager for this fairly big restaurant. Food was alright - I'm not sure which was madeby the actual cook vs manager. The burger was not medium as requested and they put way too much blue cheese. Muscles weren'tvery fresh, they tasted pretty fishy. Onion soup had way too much vinegar. I'm sure part of the issue with the food quality isthat they really only have one cook. Honestly I would avoid for a couple months until they hire more staff. Left me with apretty bad impression. This location is NOW OPEN, kind of... I'm sure they are still adjusting, but even with only 3 tables, the waiter spent most of... his time talking to friends at one of the 3 tables. When the waiter finally came, he wanted to take our drink and food orderwhile he cleared dishes 2 tables away. Had to ask for bread and there was no follow up. They will need to do better. They haveexisting restaurants throughout the South Bay that we have tried and enjoyed. Read more
I love this place: excellent food but not pretentious. You can have a great dinner or a nice brunch. And the burgers are... fantastic. Read more
