The food was good, but the service was horrible!! Not to mention we were the only customers, besides to go orders.
Rating at the time of visit was only 85. Didn?t see that until paying before we left. My husband didn?t feel well after eating... there. The water had an awful aftertaste. Couldn?t drink it. The waitress gave us the wrong receipt. When she returned with thecorrect one, she accidentally rang up a beer (we don?t drink) instead of a Diet Coke. The cost was $2.99. She said the beer andsoda cost the same. That wasn?t true. Sodas were $2.49. Drink prices are not on the menu. I had to look online. The rice andbeans were barely warm. But their chips are the best. Well this is the only review because I will not eat here again. There service isn't bad except they absolutely cannot get a... order right. I ordered something to go yesterday for lunch today got it out a few minutes ago and what do you know it is wrongagain. I have tried to excuse it but how many times do you do that before just not going back. Read more
Food was fine. Service was fine. But beware. They hand you a menu with the prices and then when you get the bill the prices... are apparently.....market price.....yeah there's a sign at the register to try and justify what they are doing. Super nice servers. This time they got my order right even though it was just cheese dip but we did have 30 people.
We haven't visited this restaurant in over a year and I'm glad we came back. Their chips and salsa was good and they actually... give each person their own little bowl of salsa and the chips came in a big bowl. The drink special for the night was a limemargarita for $3 and the first one was so good that I got a second one. You will need someone to drive you home. Yes, theytasted good and actually had a fair amount of tequila in there. I opted for the frozen version and it tasted very good. Wealso had a double order of their fajitas and they were very good and had plenty of leftovers. So all in all it was a very goodmeal and the price was fair. Read more
Recently I visited my favorite Mexican restaurant and I was astonished. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately (the norm) and... waited for chips and salsa ( my favorite) and waited, and finally 10 minutes passed and we could finally indulge, my fiancee andI, and requested queso dip upon receiving our chips. (Again the norm) Our chips were cold, I couldn't believe it is dug deep inthe basket cold... not fried hot and crispy. The salt we attempted to add wouldn't stick because there was no oil from beingfried. No worries though right we ordered drinks and the queso dip is coming, right? Or is it... it didn't we had to again askand wait an additional 10 minutes to get it. No worries though right you ordered the Amigo Burrito heaven on a place iscoming... It's time the burritos here, but wait where's my guacamole it's not here WHYYYY!!!!! AND MY PLATE is broken. Plenty of Tex-Mex, but also a good selection of Mexican dishes. You can get good molcajete here, and a queso fundida that's not... just cheese soup. Seafood items are excellent, and the seafood burrito has actual crab and not the fake processed stuff. Wallscovered in murals, and there's a bar (no sales on Sunday in Rogersville though). The cashier counter has various candies andmints for sale as well as a refrigerator full of Jarritos, which is always a good sign in my opinion. Also the takeout serviceis excellent. Read more
