Reviews for Pelican's Snoballs in Roebuck, SC

Was introduced earlier this year and I have been hooked ever since. Never been a big fan of snoballs but these are far from your... average. More flavors than Congress has faults. Servings are large but the prices are not. Even have a play area for the kids toburn off all their energy while you can sit down in the shade and save yours. When the temperature outside is higher than ourgas prices, it's a tough place to beat. Sadly they'll be closing soon for the season but I can't wait until it warms up again.Strawberry Fields is my favorite but the orange-pineapple comes a close second. Read more

If I could give a 4.5 stars I would. I love pelicans. We go regularly to a different location closer to our house. I stopped by... this location while nearby working on a job. This one does seem to have a lot more flavor options then the other location we goto. Staff was super friendly and took a few moments to have a conversation. The ice is amazing, super light and fluffy andsomehow almost finer that snow. The flavors are great, and very refreshing. The only negative thing I've got to add is while Isat on a railroad tie enjoying my ice under a small shade tree I had about 5-10 minutes to just glance around at the place andit looks like it could use some TLC. The tables are in desperate need of some attention, and the "playground area".....I don'tknow what to say... the place just looks like deteriorating clutter in a field. I hope that doesn't sound rude, just trying togive some constructive criticism. I think you'd be much better served with a bit more shade and some nicer tables than with anyof the playground area at all. It's just one guys opinion. HOWEVER, that would not keep me from stopping by again. The productand service are great. Read more

Love Pelicans but I watched everyone walk away when a nice snowball on top on their cups and got mine and it wasn't even filled... to the top for a $4 cup. Need more consistency with how they are made. Read more

We were in the area and never tried one of these snow cones before so this was a must to stop! We were able to walk up and order... quickly, one thing there are soooo many options so if you can decide just spin the wheel and go from there ???? we ordered acookies and cream snow cone and then birthday/cotton candy mix, they were both pretty good, definitely a great option for a hotday treat! It?s hard to miss this roadside sno-cone stone bothers because it is very brightly colored but also because it is very popular.... There are a lot of choices, flavors and toppings. It?s a great place to hang out with friends as there are outdoor games andactivities. It?s a little pricey for the product but that hasn?t deterred is from making this a regular stop. Read more
