The food was fabulous and the views spectacular!!! The crab and artichoke dip was the best I've had. But, let's talk service,... ahmmm. Our waitress/bartender was trying to do too much and couldn't do her job well enough for us. Plus when we questioned anitem we ordered on the menu I got snapped back an answer. If we hadn't already ordered plus we absolutely starving ????, wewould have left. She must have realized how she left that remark with me because she returned to the table with a totallydifferent attitude. Offering substitutions ect. I do need to mention that only 2 other waitresses were working. All in all wedid enjoy our meal very good fish tacos, and blackened shrimp tacos!!! Read more

The ABSOLUTE BEST New York strip steak I have EVER had. Period. and the avocado crab dip is beyond good! It?s not real large in... size. Max capacity, at our time of visiting, was 68. I?m in a wheelchair, and everyone went out of their way for myaccommodations. The bartender, when we were there, poured a strong mixed drink but delicious! I highly recommend visiting. Theprice is completely worth the deliciousness of the food!! We were there in August at about 5:30pm. You have a beautiful view ofthe sunset! Highly recommended!! Read more

There were many negative experiences our party experienced during our entire visit to this restaurant, bottom line this place... feels very poorly managed. WARDROBE WARNING: bring sunglasses. the sunset views are wonderful, until they are burning yourretinas. The location does not have blinds and many of the guests resorted to wearing their sunglasses. The server wasoverwhelmed and trying their best to make the most of the situation, and it's not their fault that the kitchen gets backed up,runs out of ingredients or sends apps with dinners after an hour and 15 minute wait on food. The hallway for the bathrooms isalso the service hallway for the kitchen and I got pinned in the bathroom waiting for the kitchen staff to move the garbage binthat filled the hallway and prevented the door from opening. The pricing on our receipts did not match the menu prices for someof the items, ex: the hummus appetizer was billed at $14.95, but the menu clearly states $13.95. The menu also clearly statesthat the app comes with pita that we never got. Some menu items also seem wildly overpriced as compared to other options. Ex:the tuna sandwich is the same cut / portion of tuna as the tuna dinner with a side and the dinner is $15 more for effectively adifferent plating arrangement. We talked to our server, who was in tears for most of the night, and thanked them for providingwhat little enjoyment we got out of the experience. It was obvious that she was not being supported by the kitchen / managementby many interactions we saw with other staff and guests at tables. My favorite place to catch the sunset in the Rodanthe area. Very chill laid back atmosphere. Great cocktails with lots of other... drink choices. Great food and friendly staff. You just cannot beat the views here. Read more

Service is nice. We really like the waiter, and the beautiful ocean view. Foods are not as good as anticipated. Fish taco is... fine, but the tuna sandwich is way overcooked. I ordered medium cooked, but it more than well done that it's hard to swallow. Read more

It's a relaxed, laid back bar with a small eating area for hungry folks both indoors and out. The staff was friendly, astute,... and didn't constantly disturb us while we were eating. The food was fast, hot, and fresh. The seating has plenty of space forpeople to move around regardless of mobility status and the building has your choice of elevator or stair access. It can be alittle hard to find as it's on the top floor of the shopping mall it's a part of and the signage doesn't stand out. However thetop floor location also sports a water facing outdoor deck for amazing views even when eating indoors. It's exactly halfwaybetween Cape Hatteras and Manteo making it a great place to grab a filling meal while traveling to either location. Read more
