I was in the mall looking to try Chachi's sandwich because I had heard great things from my co-worker. The lineup was long and I... had to be patient.The sandwich did not disappoint, and more importantly for me, the staff were extremely friendly and polite.Because I had a wait a little longer, the manager offered me a free drink which I thought was very nice. I typically always choose Chachi's when going to the mall It's fast and the sandwiches are super filling and tasty with fresh... ingredients but this time when I ordered the clubbin I got one piece of turkey lunch meat when typically its a huge hunk ofbreast. I couldn't even tell there was any meat besides bacon on it and these sandwiches are not the cheapest. The Mac N Cheesewas great as per usual though. My partner is celiac and we often go to chachi because they offer gluten friendly alternatives. While I understand that they... are busy on a weekend the person working behind the counter refused to serve my partner because she did not want to wipe downthe counter. I am horrified that someone would deny a paying customer to safely eat in a social setting like a "normal" personcan do. People should not be treated or penalized for having a dangerous allergy. I tried Chachi?s for the first time at cross iron yesterday and I don?t know who made my sandwich or how much the two girls... sanitized the stations, the utensils they use or maybe the products was bad but I got sick from eating at Chachi?s. Right afterI ate my sandwich I was fine until half an hour or so in the mall I didn?t feel good. My stomach was hurting (cramping) so badand I started having aches and chills when I got into my car, thank god my mom was with me to drive me and go daughter home andI know you guys were the first thing I ate yesterday. Now I?m sick with some stomach bug from this place. Teach your staffproper sanitation and please wash your hands so the next person doesn?t get sick. Update: was able to try a sandwich on them. It was good, enjoyed eating it. Decently fast, it?s a bit expensive for what you get... but I?m sure you?ll find it satisfying. Original review: False Price Advertising. For example the Montreal Smoked Sandwich was$12, charged $12.50. All prices are higher than advertised. The employees know, but aren't changing the board. One employeeoffered 10% off, but the manager I assume at the till just refunded and said it wasn't possible to provide that. So I ended upwith no food and it wasted twenty minutes of my time. Have been going to this location for years now and service is always been top notch. Sandwiches are great with fresh ingredients... and I have never been disappointed with my food. I like that you can create your own sandwich and the Mac and Cheese is fabulousas a side or in the sandwich! The owner is always gracious with a smile, as is the staff. I would definitely recommend thisplace and will continue to visit on a regular basis. Read more
Had the pulled pork with Mac sandwich. It was good but the pulled pork had too much BBQ sauce for my taste. The watermelon drink... was refreshing. Next time I will try the smokie, it looked amazing. Read more
As far as Mall food goes, hard to beat Chachi's in terms of quality. But the crossiron location is uniquely horrendous when it... comes to service. Other locations I've been to you can expect a 5-10 minute wait on your food. I'd say this location averagesaround 15-20, even if it's you and one other customer. With today having to wait a whopping **53 MINUTES** after being told itwill be "...about 10 minutes". That kind of wait time would be dreadful for sit-down service The staff will often just straightup ignore you--even when they're clearly unoccupied. Ive also had an employee upon asking for a certain sandwich roll theireyes and tell me they were out. Upon asking for other sandwiches they said they were out for those too. When I asked what theycould make, the employee said they weren't sure and disappeared into the back for 2 minutes--i obviously left. The food is stillup to par with other Chachi's, so I won't give it 1 star, but clearly the staff and very likely their mgmt. are running acompletely inept and rudderless operation. Read more
