What an awesome surprise after finding the Prime Smokehouse to have a long waiting time. The Tipsy was about to close but were... happy to serve us before closing. The pizzas here are amazing - some of the best I have had anywhere - baked to perfection inwood fired oven. We shared a Carnivore - wish we had tried some more... Easily some of the best pizza in the USA, not just North Carolina! They do everything right in this joint. The dough is perfect,... ingredients fresh and quality. They have local craft beer available to pair with your favorite pie or wings. My wife and I driveover an hour one way just to go and eat here, totally worth the trip! Read more

This place is a hidden gem! Great authentic pizza. We had the monthly special, the green hornet! It was AMAZING!

Located at Rocky Mount Mills, the Tipsy Tomato offers something we don't find very often in Eastern NC- wood fired pizza! They... also offer wings, turnovers (pizza, not dessert), salads and craft beer. I noticed a small board on their counter with a s'moremenu after we sat down. How could those be bad? We ordered a personal Margherita and a Bianca, with a Bold Rock WatermelonCider. There's just something about that crispy, toasty crust that a wood fired oven gives you that you can't get in a regularpizza oven. After we ate, we walked around the Mills. Pizza was very good. Well made with nice flavor. Service needed improvement. Pizza and salad were delivered to our table but no... plates, napkins or silverware. We asked for plates, silverware and napkins. Server seemed put off that we had asked. He didbring two plates, two forks and knives and one napkin. For the price of the pizza the service should be better. Also plasticware, paper plates (very cheap) and napkins should be better quality. Read more
