Absolutely fantastic food and service! A hidden little gem in Rocky Mount. The made from scratch food is heavenly! Wow! Took my daughter here for my first time and hers as she was visiting from Alexandria, VA and boy were we blown away by the... robust menu options! It was a Friday evening about 7pm and the wait was about 30 min to be seated. The environment was nice,there were TV monitors all over and old school music playing in the overhead speakers. My daughter ordered the Duck Jambalayaand I ordered the KFT-Korean Fried Turkey Wing. Oh, and we had the homemade pork rinds with jalopena cheese sauce. It was alldelicious and very sizable portions! We had homemade key lime pie for dessert which was to die for! Hats off to Chef Justin whomwe had the opportunity to meet. The service was great and our waitress was very attentive, thank you Anya! I like the classic and relaxing vibe of this restaurant. The porch was lovely and they had a thoughtful table arrangement where... half of the chairs were in the sun and the other half were in the shade of the pillar. The waitress was great and the people atnearby tables were friendly too. It was a great representation of authentic southern hospitality in a welcoming andwell-appointed space. Read more

What a lovely place, first off, and he staff are very friendly and helpful, there is high seating in the bar area, I personally... like the bar side, lower seating is available in the back room or the porch. The food is excellent, I had their moules fritesand their cheddar burger, we also had the buffalo cauliflower, again and excellent choice. A nice beer selection too. Restroomsare clean and situated indoors to the side of the bar. Parking is just outside, not too many spaces but there is a large parkinglot just down the road if you can't get in. Other things to note, there are five breweries around this place! So make a fewhours of it and visit the breweries as well. A great experience here with awesome food, we will be back. Read more
We showed up right before 10pm after working an event at Rocky Mount Mills. It was the only place still serving food. Staff was... very friendly and accommodating. All the options on the menu looked amazing and lots of unique options. Myself and my companiondecided on salads. We both ordered the Tavern Cobb salad with grilled chicken per the server's recommendation. Salad was freshand tasty. Chicken cooked perfect. Server gave us some beer suggestions and brought us a taste of a couple, of which weexpressed interest. Just as we finished eating the owner of the establishment stopped by our table and asked how we were doingand if we enjoyed everything. Everyone was super friendly, very clean, comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Would highlyrecommend and would like to return again myself. I am not a beer drinker. Always a wonderful experience. The pork rinds with queso are a must! Not only is the food terrific but the staff is professional... and the ambiance of the restaurant is upscale yet cozy. I always recommend this restaurant to people coming to the Wilson/RockyMount area. Read more
The jalapeno poppers were very good. I also had a margarita which was good (they could lay off so much ice) The key lime pie is... great it is tart but the crust is delicious. It is $10 for a slice. The drinks run about $10 each. I like the atmosphere we saton the enclosed deck they have heat lamps. They are a little pricey but nice spot overall. Read more
