My family members and myself went to celebrate my uncles Birthday on Sunday, November 6, 2022.There had to be at least 20 to 25... of us there. We were fortunate enough to have the BEST waitress hands down by the name of JESSICA !!! JESSICA was absolutelythe BEST waitress with the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I was a little worried that with all these orders she would be impatientand rude. But not at all, JESSICA was so patient, extremely kind, full of smiles, an attentive listener, and just WONDERFUL!!!!JESSICA got every order correct down to the drink!! She was even thoughtful enough to bring extra pitchers of water, ice, tea,Arnold Palmer, and utensils! The food was fresh, hot, and so delicious! When it was time to go JESSICA had us extra cups, lids,carry out containers, and bags! There was nothing we needed to ask for! I made sure to let the manager know what an assetJESSICA is . The mayflower has been one of my favorites since moving to the south. However they no longer have crab legs or clam strips on... their menu which were two of my favorite items.....the hush puppies and fried shrimp are still amazing though. Read more

Service was okay, but the food was awful. My scallops were so salty and fried to death, green beans were out of a can and... microwaved with no flavor ew. My fiancé?s steak was cooked to death and the tuna was not seasoned well. All in all just way toomuch money for captain Ds quality. Read more

Food ok, as was server. "Manager" on the other hand was a snappy, hateful being. Rolling her eyes, talking about us as we headed... to our table then just stomped off telling other staff to "deal" with us. Deal with us? At that point I hadn't spoken a word.She was bent all out of shape by injured customer with walker and a service dog. Initially wanted us to leave...pointed out thiswas against state and federal law. Absolutely terrible experience. Waitress was easily sidetracked, food was only lukewarm(I sent the first meal back. The second... one was as cold as the first). The applesauce was the warmest part of my meal, my Pepsi was flat and we were given no straws.They did take my meal off the bill because I just can't eat lukewarm, soggy fries and fish. This was my first and absolute last time at this place! I get better food at Captain D?s then this. Can someone explain why this... was $17.69? I believe our waitress was a young lady name Kayla. She was very attentive and on point. She came to the table multiple times,... and worked the entire time I was there. The reason the restaurant is getting 3/5 stars is because when we arrived we waited atthe front door for about 4-6 mins and an employee was feet away and didn?t say anything. There was no host. The whole time wesaw a group of young adults standing in the back talking. After the employee saw me and my husband was about to leave shedecided to walk us over to a table. The food was great. A manager came from the back and asked about the food. When it was timeto leave, again we had to wait on a long line to pay. As we were waiting to leave, the line to enter increase from the podiumto the door. Those people were growing restless waiting, just like we did waiting to enter. Read more
