OMG, where do I begin?! This place is AWESOME. My husband and I ended up here after attempting another Mexican restaurant near... by that probably needs to be shut down for sanitary purposes. We stumbled upon this Gem and they did NOT dissapoint. The serviceand DRINKS were TOP NOTCH. Our bar server Aurora (on 11/25/2022) was THE BEST. It was so good that we went back the next night.We will definitely order food the next time we're in town. We were already stuffed from Thanksgiving dinner. Accidents are made to happen: You know how you see one thing then accidently pick up another. This is what happened. I meant to... click on El Tap.. even though it's the same Mexican food, I never been here and accidently called in my order there. I just wentthrough with it, I like trying different places anyway. Especially if im getting real food. Of the gate, Great phone service, Everyone greeted at the door and the wait wasn't long. My order was perfect! Visiting from out of town and this restaurant came highly recommended. The customer service was exceptional! The fresh made... quac was delicious. We ordered a variety of Margaritas (mango, strawberry mango, and the El Jimador). The food came out quickand hot. The shrimp quesadilla Blanco, burrito, and fire skillet fajita were so good. El Jimador is BACK! Hubby and I decided to give it another try after some disappointing experiences last year. El Jimador... is back and better than ever! Husband had lunch Bonita and I had lunch nachos Supreme. Food was hot and delicious. Servicewas quick and friendly. The place has been redecorated over time, and looks amazing. New bar area looks great, and somehowthey have maintained their reputation as a family friendly place. Even with the new separate bar area, don't be afraid to takethe kids. Highly recommended ???? Seated immediately. Nice decor. Good food served quickly. Big portions. Right off the highway. For those who care, this is... "real" Mexican food--not Tex-Mex (Tex-Mex often uses cheddar cheese and throws cumin in everything; to each his own but I preferwhite queso Oaxaca and less cumin). Read more

My family and I've been customers there for a while now. The first time there they forgot something on my mom's order. He gave... her the missing items they next time she came back. So we thought no problem. We always spend $60+. I always get the #2 familymeal for my children that's what they always eat. Last month, I called in and pickup in drive thru. Got home, realized theyforgot 2 items from that order. On top of that my food I ordered was cold. I couldn't warm it up because it had sour cream,lettuce, guac and pico on it. I called the manager which is really a nice guy. Complained of the issue. I was told he'd give me2 large bag of chips and throw in some queso. That was a month ago. Tonight was treat night Mexican of course. I went in insteadof drive thru. I mentioned it to the manager about items missing with my last order and he didn't remember saying that and heknows my name. Which I'd think you were suppose notate things like that. However, sadly to say, tonight they lost 7 customers. Iorder family meal, and three other menu items. I spent $80 tonight only for my daughter to find hair in the burritos under thecheese. I called the manager again expressing my concern and he made it seem like the hair was mine b/c he didn't know how itcould've gotten there. He said his cooks wore hats and face mask. I'm a very honest woman I have no need to get over on anyone.Me and my daughter's hair are braided. Ask yourself, a place you always go, food you've craved and spent that kind of money, whywould you put straight black hair in it. My children lost their appetite. Great drinks. Everything else was mediocre at best. Service was poor, our server and another acted like lost puppies whenever we... politely asked a question. Not to mention our server looked Caucasian which is never a good sign at a Mexican restaurant, andshe didn't know the menu very well. She was klutzy, clueless, and we had to wait for her to come back to get our ticket becauseshe was too busy talking with her coworker. Guacamole was old, fries were so-so, and my fish tacos were just fish and cabbage.Sauce was good but sparse. We had two sets of chips and neither one was hot. Overpriced for the food and service quality wereceived. We will stick to El Tap for Mexican cuisine from now on. Read more
