Reviews for Toosso in Rockville, MD
Nice food, liked the chicken Tikka and the faluda most. Too bad couldn't have the tea, as it would take 20 minutes to prepare.
We went to this restaurant recently. Our previous visit was a month earlier. The food quality and service was significantly... better during last visit compared to previous visit. They may have been change in management or cook or both. Plenty of parkingavailable. Food prices are reasonable and food quality is for the dishes we tried was outstanding. You should definitely go atleast once to checkout the dishes if you like Pakistani/Indian food. Will highly recommend. Read more
Ordered halwa poori with chai and Paan. Now the the serving size for 1 person is 2 pooris with a side of channa masala, halwa,... zeera aaloo and yogurt raita. But the quantity of the channa masala and aaloo is too less to finish it with 2 pooris. Some of usused maths to equalize the quantity needed for each thing in every bite but some of us tried telling them to refill our portionsof channa masala and aaloo but they instead told us they?ll give us a big bowl of each which then would?ve been too much! SoTaste wise 10/10 Quantity wise 4/10 Otherwise Atmosphere is good, hygienic but I would like to suggest to add Pakistani/Indianworkers/servers who know what they are doing and what the customers need. Not bad but not exciting, from what I ordered. Sort of an Indian/Persian fusion, which is an exciting idea. Casual place for... lunch, dinner, or carry out. Got the dum keema, kabob roll, and beef samosa and they weren't bad, but the dum keema was a littlebland and the rice was not salted, which was weird. Read more
Superb place. I tried nehari with naan and faluda at the end. The nehari gravy is spicy but not hot so all the delicious tastes... are there without sweating. The nehari meat was juicy and tender. You can share if you want. The faluda was superb also. Imissed fruit cuts in it though, still it's a superb one (tips: melt the icecream first, it will make the faluda more tasty!) Read more
Toosso means to "over stuff your belly" but this place is kind of opposite, it's not a buffet so don't expect yourself to... overeat. Kind of Stingy people, the portion of food is small. A lot of Hispanic and other young employees and instead ofPakistani restaurant it gives a different kind of vibe. More of a fast food kind of stuff. Only haleem is good there... Read more
The falooda is 10/10. The masala fries is flavorful but very soggy. There is outdoor/indoor seating available. Cool spot to grab... some evening snacks. Read more
My MIL passed away and no one could duplicate her chanay until I ate here. Nostalgia and emotions from every bite. Prices are... great and decor reminds me of Pakistan. If ever in Maryland, I'd eat here again. Read more
