Very sad to know that they removed stinky tofu from the menu. I think the Taiwanese dishes were great. We recommend the popcorn... chicken (???), Taiwanese hamburger (??), and oyster vermicelli (????)! It was a little bit weird to see spinach in the oysterpancake (???) because it is usually cooked with Taiwanese bok choy in Taiwan. But we still liked the oyster pancake. The onlydish we didn't enjoy that much was the eggplant (????). Nothing was wrong with it, but it just didn't stand out. Read more

Taiwanese hamburger was good but not for people who dislike pork fat. Chicken fried rice, eggplant and string beans were good.... Radish & egg pancake was not as flavorful as I hoped, and it?s also pretty oily. Oyster vermicelli was okay - probably would gowith intestine only next time. Overall, it?s a good place to have a casual lunch. Read more

If I wasn?t invited by my friend, I would rate one star for this restaurant. Many years ago when the restaurant just opened, I... went there, expecting something new or special. I have forgotten what I ordered. However, I still remember the food, service andenvironment were very disappointing. A friend invited us to have a lunch there. Our group had a good time, except thefood. Shumai: actually a hard meatball with broken skin. Not recommended. Fried dumplings: very thick skin and a few fillings. Not recommended. Three cup chicken: I have never seen such kind of three cup chicken. It seemed just sautéed chicken dippingin too cub dark sauce. Not recommended. Peking duck: there many local restaurants offers or king duck. This was the worst. Onlyhad shredded onions as side dish, even had not shredded cucumbers, the basic side for this dish. Sautéed bean sprouts withgarlics: it is OK. Nothing special. Shredded pork with bamboo shoots: it is OK. Nothing special. Some bamboo shoots were toooootough. Shredded pork with dried tofu: almost all shredded tofu, almost had no pork. Beef: very tough. Hot pork (pork blood, small intestine): can it be more salty? Should be a spicy dish, but I only tasted salty. Deep fried fish fillets: the fish wastender and juicy. However, the salt wasn?t spreader evenly. Some pieces were to salty, while some were too light. I love this place because of the food, and have been here many times! But this time, the manager just killed the entire eating... out experiences. She gave the worst attitude ever. Just because we came here for shaved ice as dessert, one bowl of Lu RuoFan, and order a take out for braised pork belly over rice entry. I clearly told her that when we got there we just orderingdessert and small bites. It's not like we didn't pay or came in with bad Stink in our faces. So before we left the place weasked her if we can speak to the owner and she said she was not the owner. So we confronted her on her bad customer service, andanother waitress's bad attitude. We killed them with kindness and all she can do was smile! I mean we still tipped her and ourquick bites! We told her that was uncalled for, we have been here many times and referred many friends that are interested inTaiwanese food to eat here. So going forward if I ever eat here it will be take outs only and not bother with their badcustomer service. Here is a Mug shot of the lady included...???? Read more
