Many years ago Armands was great. I ordered pizza from there recently and it was horrible. The worse attempt at deep dish pizza... I've had...also ordered cheese sticks that looked like breadsticks and tasted like someone forgot to put the cheese on them. Afew weeks back I went to Uno's and had deep dish pizza. My main complaint was they have Monday deal on deep dish. I called and ordered a small when I could have gotten the large for... less money. I think the staff should know when to mention deals. Otherwise she seemed nice. Otherwise at pick the pizza didn?tsee that hot. They said 20 minutes but place was empty. So I think it was sitting for a bit. The pizza itself was just okay, Ihad higher expectations given the reviews. I would say this closer to a frozen pizza that was left out. Ryan liked the Pizza better than our usual staple. Our server was nice enough but in some sort of hurry to get away from us.... This resulted in errors in our order. Mozzarella sticks were over cooked. Wings were solid Sysco. But the anchovies in my saladcame out as artichokes. And I got charged extra for the mistake. Pushed my salad away. I?ve been meaning to check this place out ever since it won best pizza in MoCo, and I?m glad that I finally got to check it out!... The pizza was really tasty - good quality ingredients, a hefty slice, and good value! I can see why it was voted as best pizza.The crust was thick and had a great bite to it, the cheese was stretchy, and the ratio of everything was great. The mozzarellasticks were also very delicious. The breading to cheese ratio was just right and the marinara sauce was flavorful. They didn?tget soggy before we got home, either. We ordered the original Chicago deep dish and mozzarella sticks and I?m excited to try theother things on the menu as well. I can?t wait to be back! Read more
While waiting for my pizza I listened as the employees loudly complained about their jobs and how much they hated working here. ... One Hispanic gentlemen with a ponytail loudly stated on multiple occasions that he didn't care if he was fired because he "couldwork anywhere else". It was so unprofessional and immature that I'll never be back. Plenty of better and happier places toorder good pizza from around here. Read more
