My wife and I recently visited this place while looking for a restaurant to grab a bite to eat. From the outside it was nothing... special but once we got inside it was very cute and kind of had a hippie vibe. There were a couple of young women playing liveacoustic music in the corner. My wife and I shared a large salad and a sandwich and they were both very delicious. The priceswere average and the people were friendly. Being a resident, I'm embarrassed it's taken me so long to go here. That said, I totally loved it. Had the turkey wrap (w/bacon)... - very tasty, lots of good flavors. Enjoyed a glass of wine. Next time I'd love to try some of the soups. The atmosphere iswelcoming, relaxed, fun. Music was great! Looks like they have a lot going on, and it'd be great to have this place succeed.Definitely will go back - and hope that more locals will give it their support. I finally was able to check this cafe out last night and I am blown away with my experience! Such an amazing, inviting and... creative ambiance with lots of beautiful art work from local artists. The staff is exceptional and the food is unbelievable. Ihave a gluten allergy and all of their delicious menu items can be made gluten free! I believe I had the best sandwich of mylife there and have found my new go-to spot!! I love that they hold lots of different events throughout the week from livemusic, meet and greets with authors, and my favorite: Drink and Draw. My husband and I had a great lunch at the Whale's Jaw Cafe. We started with an excellent homemade chicken vegetable soup. The... owners told us that they cook fresh chicken stock daily for their chicken salad and use the base for soup. I had a deliciousvegetarian sandwich, the Marjorie Flack (mozzarella, tomato, spinach and pesto on a pressed ciabatta roll) while my husband hadthe Cubano, fresh cooked pork shoulder, ham, swiss pressed and toasted.
