I'm visiting the Auburn area from Los Angeles, where we have great Lebanese food. Wally's Cafe exceeded my expectations. The... Dolmas melt in your mouth. The Kafta plate had 4 delicious ground beef patties that are thick. The Falafel has a nice kick toit. We also picked up a bunch of sides. The Tabbouleh is crisp and tangy. The Baba Ghanouj was my husband's choice. He said ithas a great roasted eggplant flavor. The Baklava is a flaky dream. Each piece is individually wrapped so it stays perfectlytogether. Unwrap and pop it straight into your mouth. The pickles, turnips and olives are delicious and fresh. The lentil soupis one of my favorite things on the menu. I look forward to returning to Wally's Cafe when I return in a few weeks and tryingother items. Read more

Looking for a new lunch spot with exotic flavors? First, you are served a delicious lentil soup with a small flavorful square of... baklava. Every order receives the soup and baklava complimentary. Within minutes of finishing your soup, your ordered item isbrought to you. The cheesesteak was good, but not the best I've had. I would recommend trying one of the other entrees. Thefamily that runs the restaurant is amazing. They made the whole experience worthwhile. I would suggest the staff notify thecustomer if there would be an additional charge when changing your order. It's an additional $4, to substitute a salad forfries. I would recommend sitting on the side of the restaurant to enjoy the landscape. Also, the meals/ sandwiches can beshared.
