Reviews for Hill's Seafood Co in Rockland, ME
The fried clams and haddock reuben were outstanding, and they pay attention to the little things: the fries and coleslaw were... excellent, too. Friendly & attentive service near the end of lunch, and we we weren't rushed at all. We're looking forward togoing back the next time we're in town! Read more
We just had the haddock sandwich. Three to be exact. We all give them a 5+. The fish was a good portion, cooked perfect. Cold... slaw was excellent.. super service. Read more
All I got was an order of fries, but I had to leave a review because the service was amazing!! Thank you to my server, Olivia:)
The young lady that served us was outstanding, and in no way is this directed towards her. The owner whoever should have closed... last week instead of staying open and limping along to go on vacation at the end of this week. Food was limited and to be honestI have had better seafood from Long John Silvers. The quality was questionable at best as well as how it was prepared. Read more
Finally we got to have lunch at Hills after all the delays due to covid. It was worth the wait. Wonderful buttery fried clams... and crisp fries. Homemade coleslaw too!! I rate it a 9 out of 10. Same as the tartar sauce. Waitstaff was prompt . My wife hadone of their chicken dishes which was excellent and as an aside the broccoli was perfectly cooked, not an afterthought like somany other places. There was a very interesting beer selection available both on tap and bottles. The bloody Mary is great, too. Read more
Lobster stew was simple and amazing, chowder as well. A few orders of fish and chips and the lobster pie was filled with claws... and knuckles and had the classic crab cracker casserole topping. Ingredients got to shine on their own at this no frills mom andpop. Read more
We were in Rockland earlier this day (Tuesday), walked out to the Breakwater Lighthouse and back. One of the hottest days that... I've ever spent in Maine. We were ready for some good seafood and cold drinks, but every restaurant we considered was closed, strangely. Being from Maryland, we were surprised, and of course, disappointed. We had considered Claws and Sea Dog Brewing. Wewere doubly disappointed when a restaurant that my husband and I had eaten at and enjoyed last fall, The Jack, was also closed.Happened upon this place that, with a name like Hill's Seafood, promised to have what we needed. We were fortunate to arrivejust as a table cleared up indoors, as we REALLY wanted to get out of the heat. Our waitress was friendly, cheerful and helpful, especially considering how busy they were. The food was great too. Our waitress brought us a pitcher of ice water to more easilyreplenish our glasses with. We were very grateful to have this place of respite available. Read more
Delicious, fresh seafood, beautiful view and wonderful staff. Freshest fried clams with crisp, fresh french fries. Pulled Pork... Mac n' Cheese was out of this world! I've never had it put together this way and I can not wait to have it again; I'd suggestthe broccoli too. Read more
