I know third party ordering Apps have their shortfalls, and so initially I thought maybe it was simply a listing mistake. Then I... saw the menu listed on the website and saw the same thing; When I ordered a stromboli, underneath the item it said "mozzarellacheese" which is all well and good, I assumed it meant that it would include mozzarella cheese in there, maybe a warning forthose who are lactose intolerant. I assumed it would include the rest of what typically comes in a stromboli when ordered froman NJ Pizzaria. To my surprise, I received a JUST cheese stromboli. I can't imagine that a cheese only stromboli is a commonorder for many people? I've never had a stromboli without at least a few of the traditional fillings inside of it. It's justshocking that someone saw that ticket and said "yeah this is a stromboli." Not to mention the cost at a whopping 17.50, Ithought I'd be getting a decent sized, meat filled stromboli. While the size was decent, just cheese doesn't make the cut. Iwasn't going to write anything until I saw the reviews and saw someone else with a similar issue! The menu needs to be updatedto be more specific in calling that order as it is; a cheese roll, or specifically mention it is just cheese. Otherwise, thepizza was... Decent. Crust was a little dry and overdone in my opinion but definitely far from the worst I've had, and I'dprobably eat it again if I was around the place. Mozz sticks were good though! Read more
Ordered a stromboli and I sort of got one? 17.50 dollars for a large chunk of cheese with dough around it, with nothing else.... I've literally never heard of a pizza place that sells a stromboli with nothing but cheese and calls it a stromboli. For fullprice, too. How is that even a thing? First time ordering and they have great thin crust pizza. Sauce was fantastic as well. Definitely will be ordering again.
I'm a bit of a pizza fanatic and this place has some great pizza. This was the first time I've ever been here and it was totally... worth it. The pulled pork pizza was great. Something I've never had before. RJ's will definitely become part of my pizza placerotation. Read more
RJs has the best pizza in Morris County. My son and I go often. A NY style thin crust, good fold/good crust, perfect balance of... sauce to cheese and quality toppings. This would probably be the best pie in the state but I'm from Orange,NJ and Star Tavernwill always hold a spot in my heart. I wont go anywhere else for pizza. Amazing Grace was a very good Host and provided a 5 star Customer Service experience. The place was very clean and provide many... different slice options for lunch. I selected the grandma slice which was $3.47. The sauce was excellent with a little bite,cheese was very fresh with goid flavor and the crust was good. The crust was different on each end of the slice, which provided2 different bites. The sauce was the star of the show. This place should make the list for the 2020 Morris County Tournament ofPizza. I stopped in for some lunch today and decided on the caprese salad and side of meatballs since I?m on a meatball kick! This is... a tiny but cute pizzeria tucked into the strip mall on Rte. 46 west near Franklin Road in Rockaway. I thought the salad wasvery good although it would have (and I?m big advocate of balsamic vinegar) been just a good with a little less dressing. Thecheese, basil, and mozzarella were fresh and it was very satisfying. The meatballs were also quite good and I dug the sauce. Themeatballs were pretty big and had a nice flavor. They were appropriately dense without being too full of breadcrumbs that tendto detract from the flavor value. The salad came with three rolls and although I didn?t eat them (I gave to my friend at work)they looked and felt fresh! It took a little longer than I expected to wait for my order so next time I?ll call ahead. Ihaven?t dined in yet so I?ll do an update on this review when I do. I like the little chalkboard of specials and the warmth ofthe simple but welcoming atmosphere and decor. Read more
