Seriously the best donuts I have eaten! I have not stopped thinking of them since my return to NY.
We were heading back to ND from CA and we stopped at a nearby hotel and saw this donut shop. We said we would stop by before we... left the next morning and the only regret I have is not bringing more for the ride. They were so good and we LOVED the applefritters, we stop by every morning now when we pass through. We are going to Ca on July 22nd and we will stop and get some onthe way to Ca and on the way back as well. Read more
It's in a strip mall store front, but they did alot to add cowboy charm and feels to the place. The service was super helpful... and friendly. When asked my server recommended the watermelon glazed donut. Definitely wouldn't have ordered that one on myown, but totally was happy I listened. It wasn't too sweet, just the perfect blend with and understated watermelon aftertaste. The rest were great as well. We had a mixed half dozen and were happy with every last one of them. Dang Good Donuts! We took a chance and pulled off Hwy 80 because we saw a sign for donuts this morning. Cowboy Donuts? Yes,... please! It was easy to find, plenty of parking, friendly staff, comfortable seating, and then let's not forget the donuts. Wewere a little later in the morning so one of their donut cabinets was already empty, but that was a good sign. We picked a dozenfor ourselves and some donut holes for our youngest.
