Stopped in to have lunch. BBQ Chris is now the food truck kitchen chef. I had the pulled pork sandwich. Fantastic! Loved the... fries also! I don't know if they are freah cut but they sure tasted like it. If younget a chance, stop by. It will be wellworth it! Read more
Drinks are cold and staff was nice. Did not eat any food but it looked really good!
My son was just there. Said it smelled great. Wished he could have gotten some food! Sat there for 25 min at a table and noone... even asked him if he wanted anything even though they looked at him and saw him. They were on their phones and chatting peopleup. This review is based more on the food side of the business - the bar itself is a Rock Island staple, a great place for live... music and to grab a drink. I was very excited to try ?The Food Mechanic?s? menu. The pictures on social media look amazing andit?s great that Rock Island has added another legit option to it?s lackluster food scene. I was with a party of four others andnone of us were very impressed with our meals. 3 had burgers, 1 had the chicken sandwich with waffles as buns, and I had the BBQspaghetti. It might have just been a bad day for the kitchen, I?ll still come back and give a second chance. If needed I?llupdate the review. The creativity is there but that?s really where it ended. Read more
