Wanted to try something new and choosing this place was a total mistake. My food was actually really well made and tasted... amazing but the food the rest of my family ordered was abysmal. I genuinely feel bad for letting them even order from here. Thecontainer for mac n cheese was only a quarter or so full and was very watery. The burger my father ordered to be well done wasso burnt that he struggled biting it. The other burgers were very under cooked and had to be thrown away as we feared they wouldget someone sick. The fries were still cold and they stuck together. I have no idea why specifically my meal was absolutelyamazing quality while the rest of it was fumbled and horrible. I loved coming to the towne tavern cause there boneless wings are the best (get them coaches style) haven?t been here in a while... and when I finally do imagine my disappointment when I saw they got rid of the hand cut fries and replaced them with the friesin the picture which were not that great. Great place to come but wish they kept the old fries. Read more
We love this Tavern. Staff is awesome. The food and drinks are great. A lot of TVs to watch all the different sports events... happening. My husband goes there to eat, have a beer, relax and watch the Cleveland Browns play. They rarely have it on localstations. Towne Tavern has all the games playing. Highly recommend going there. Good drink specials. Food was fine. Service was Ok. Regulars were friendly. Outside seating is great if you have a pet, like we... did. Covered, shady. Different spin on tater tots, loved that they arrived hot and were tasty. Homemade potato chips were crispyto perfection. Didn't care for the carrots that came with the wings - too thick to eat raw. They really need to be cut intostrips like the celery. Cold slaw needs work, but then we're from an area of NC where people drive from 3, 4 states away to buya quart of our vinegar-based slaw, so we're used to pretty good slaw. If I ran the kitchen I'd look up some award-winning slawrecipes, test them for customer satisfaction and turn my "meh" slaw into a side people really wanted because it has great profitmargins. Should be 4 or 5 stars- Good wings, fish and salads! Great service! Used to have the best natural cut fries. So good that... sometimes I would come just for a plate of fries... BUT switched to nasty flavored (coated??) fries.. Horrible! Worst decisionever! Read more
Hole in the wall type atmosphere. Love it. The boneless wings are the best part. Pretty sure they're just hand cut chicken... breast. Massive. Juicy. Delicious. Haven't had a bad experience yet! Read more
I had no plans to try this place out after having 6 bad Experiences and food poisoning from the york location . But it was... totally differnt ! I loved it I did end up eating and would def return. The staff was so nice and clearly knew what they weredoing unlike the york one. They had Karaoke and it was so much fun ! Will def be back ! Read more
Order 4 burgers and fries. Told them well done, all was pink in the middle and one have to be microwaved. All fries were cold.... We have never gotten hot fries when we order them. We live 2 min away. Service was great and the price was fair. Read more
