This place just recently opened up and I heard about it so thought we would go check it out. It was pretty busy which I expected... and the building is actually pretty big so there were tables. What I noticed when we first walked in was how bright it was. Imean like go get your sunglasses bright. I didn't really care for that but what are you going to do once you're in right. Once Igot over the brightness I realized that the tables are all set really close together and the gigantic bar is set to the frontgiving me the feeling I was in a casino. We ordered nachos and they definitely came out quick and were BIG. I mean a ton of foodand it was pretty good. It definitely wasn't bad just not my kind of place. I prefer the smaller traditional places in Rock Hilland will probably not be back but only because of the atmosphere. Read more
BEST Mexican restaurant we have been to in a very long time, if ever! Not only is the food amazing (fundido dip, chicken... fajitas, etc) but the decor is so updated and modern, and everything is clean! It?s incredible! Highly recommend!! Overall, pleased with the experience and will likely be back. The food was good, and we didn?t have to wait long. Drinks were... also good; the tajin was a nice garnish on my Mangonada. I appreciated the update to the standard Mexican restaurant aesthetic -new menus with pictures, agave plant tiles, and the colorful, oversized lighting. There?s definitely been attention to thedesign. However, for the obvious expense of the unique decor it?s pretty disappointing for customers to be charged a card fee(see picture of my friend?s bill). I don?t balk at this with many small businesses, but because the restaurant has obviouslyspared no expense in other areas it?s a bad look to add this (read: cheap/tacky)???? if management is so into nickel-and-diming,it doesn?t bode well for potential future business practices.??????? Had the shrimp tacos, a's the birria tacos. Ssssoooo good! And the salsa for the birria tacos was awesome. Everything was well... prepared and tasted to perfection ???????? They just opened and we?re very busy for a Tuesday night. The impression when you walk in is the decor is awesome and modern.... They are customer friendly. The food was good and can use improvement on the vegetables. I would have liked them steamed insteadof over cooked. They do not offer military discount.
