We loved this place! Is a little small but cozy and the seats are quite comfortable. We started with a cappuccino and espresso... and then moved to their wine offerings. They have well priced wine samples. After tasting a few, I went with the northwesternPinot noir and didn't disappoint. We also ordered a charcuterie board that was very good. Service was very good and allsuggestions were right on point. We have already been back last weekend. It's now our go to place for coffee or wine. I just recently relocated due to new employment and moved into the The Pierre Building (next door). I had friends over for the... first time. We came here and were faced with an extremely condescending and rude server. We presented ID, and after many dirtylooks and scoffs at us and our IDs, it seemed that she assumed we were underage attempting to use fraudulent ID. If this is anissue with the establishment, I would suggest purchasing an ID scanner in the future to avoid suspicion. I completely understandbeing cautious not to serve to underage customers (I have been a server myself in the past)- nonetheless, there was no reason tomake paying customers visiting a local business highly uncomfortable and treat them as if they were lesser than. We proceeded toorder drinks and it was one snarky comment and dirty look after the next. We are polite, hard-working, and friendly young adultsand were absolutely baffled at the way we were treated. It got to a point that I was anxious to even ask questions about themenu because I was condescended every single time I spoke. We each made payment and she basically announced to the entireestablishment that our cards ?authorized? and acted as if this was a surprise to her. She forgot to hand over my friends drinkfrom behind the bar and when he politely asked for his drink she turned to another server and bluntly began to ridicule us. Sheruined the entire experience. We sat outside highly uncomfortable and I am mortified my visiting friends had to be faced withsuch behavior. I have genuinely never been treated so poorly for no apparent reason in any establishment I have ever visited. Iwas looking forward to visiting Grapevine more frequently for morning coffee and weekend drinks, but I will never be giving themmy business again. The service was unbelievably bad. Slow, not friendly and when we asked for change of a $10 to leave a cash tip the young boy... threw it on the table at us!! Wow. My gf still left just over a 20% tip since we have both worked this industry for years. Iwould not have, personally. There is no excuse for rudeness or seeming bothered when you want to order or leave a cash tip. themenu states what comes on the cheese board and we didn't get the honey comb or any nuts...why not? Just say it's optional! Iwould have order a second glass of wine but my empty glass was not a clue that I might want another. Instead we asked for thecheck. Sadly, I would not return. The atmosphere is great but lack of customer service never works out well for theestablishment. Read more
