$6 + for avocado toast?? See the photo. Village bakery has gotten way too porky. Better to eat at home than pay for this over... priced nonsense. They need a time out. Read more

Very nice place to have breakfast or lunch. Service was fast, food was good. I liked the idea of getting a txt when my food was... ready to collect. The only thing that could improve was the sitting style, instead of 1 large table few small tables would havebeen nice as it would be easy for the staff to clean up between customers. Read more

Great food & amazing baked goods! I had the "Lucy" breakfast sandwich & 2 bottled waters for a total of about $18. The sandwich... was delicious! I SO wanted to try everything but my pocketbook wasn't in agreement & my waistline thanked me! The freshly madebreads & rolls on display were very enticing! The macarons looked perfect, which is not an easy feat! Overall very deliciousfood. A little pricey but you get what you pay for & everything seemed very well made with excellent ingredients. You definitelywant to check this place out for awesome food & baked goods. Read more

I ordered take out from here to eat while on a road trip. The online ordering system was easy to use, and the food was ready... about ten minutes early, so I will give them that positivity. That said, the order was incorrect, which, to my own fault, Ididn?t discover until after we were on the road. I had ordered the hummus sandwich with an addition of balsamic red onionsbecause they were out of olives. Turns out the sandwich comes with barely any hummus on it at all, wilted/yellowing arugula, andinstead of the onions, they added a slice of Swiss cheese. Not sure how that happened. I also got a salad and they forgot toinclude the dressing. My boyfriend?s sandwich came out fine. Also, when I picked it up, I looked to see if there were utensilsincluded in the bag. I asked the cashier if they were in there, and she said, ?They should be?, but handed me some anyway. It?sa good thing that I asked, because otherwise we would have been without. I have no problem with a policy where you have to askfor utensils with take out (I can see how this would cut down on a lot of waste), but if they were supposed to be in there andweren?t, that is another thing about my order that they overlooked. I?ve done dine-in at this location and another VillageBakery before with much more success, so in a pinch I would be willing to try that again, but I have very little faith in theirtake-out orders.
