I?ve been expecting this restaurant high but didn?t think it?s as delicious as other reviewers wrote. The freshness taste and... seasoning of the food still have a large space to be improved. I think the seafood was fresh but their cooking method didn?tstimulate its freshness taste. I could tasted all the components they used in food. Dishes were salty for me but notunbearable. The price was decent and the service was awesome. Come on Rochester! Let?s get some good restaurants with delicateseasoning and creativities! Read more

Some places are so good you almost don?t want to leave a review so the secret doesn?t get out. This is easily the most uniquely... interesting restaurant in Rochester. I ordered a Shrimp BBQ salad and literally each of the first 15 bites was distinctlydifferent and erupting with daring expressions of ingredients that I scrambled to identify as my senses overloaded withsatisfaction. Very generous portions, great staff, very limited seating but worth waiting if you have to. Great chef and he?saccessible to chat while he?s bustling around. Top 3 in Rochester, if not #1. Read more

Excellent cuisine. I call it cuisine as it is made with personality of the chefs which there is plenty. Casual yet fancy and... class with cursing. Nothing better. Menu changes for variety and change of focus in a beautiful crescendo. No reservations. Just get lucky. Read more

Absolutely loved our experience there! Came in for my guys 35th birthday and everyone was so friendly. The cooks are the ones... taking orders, which just means they know everything about your food! Definitely try the new England clan chowder that they maketo order! Or the cold oysters for a really nice treat! Read more

A phenomenal meal and great atmosphere. The shrimp salad and lobster and crab risotto were standouts, and the corn cake for... dessert was unbelievably delicious. This is a tiny 16-seater, so show up early or expect to wait! We will be back?can?t wait totry everything on the menu! Read more

Worth every one if it's five stars. The service was amazing and attentive with each server listening to us chat about our lives... as they brought us each dish as it finished in the kitchen. The dishes themselves were full of flavor and the best that I've hadof each of them. I personally thought the oysters were the best I've had our of NYC and would be happy to have them every timeI visit. The clam chowder was more buttery and less creamy than other versions but the butter and salt added to the in the shellclams and salmon in such a way that brought the dish from great to an experience. The shrimp sliders were fantastic, a perfectblend if shrimp, mayo, cucumber, celery, lemon, and dill to make a refreshing delightful treat. The seafood risotto was one ofthe cheesiest I've ever had having pesto dance on the plate with lobster, each happily holding their own combined with theparmesan. I will absolutely be back every time I'm in Rochester. The service makes you feel like family and the food makes youfeel like you've found a home. Read more

I was just visiting and I don?t know the standards of food in Rochester, but I would say the food here was good. Not great.... Overall, I would say give this place a try. The menu options were interesting and simple. Most of what I tired was prettyflavorful. I liked the chowder and the shrimp slider. I didn?t care for the risotto or the olive bread and fig dessert. Theservice was good and it was nice interacting with the chef?s. If I lived here I would probably give it one more try. Read more
