The bar itself is sunken in so you get eye to eye contact with your bartender instead of them hovering over you. Drink selection... is great, both mixed, spirits, wine and sake. Great place for sushi. Prices are a bit higher than regular sushi places but Hattie's does it in a unique way. Delicious sushi... and awesome view! Kudos to the staff for awesome drinks and specialty sushi rolls! If you're really craving Hattie's, then callahead for reservations and to make sure the restaurant isn't booked for an event. I was really craving Hattie's and when I gotto the elevator, there was a sign that said, "Hatties Closed for a Private Event". That happened twice... just my luck, butthere's no harm in calling to make sure they're open with available seating. Read more
Dinner with a view! Hattie?s is a little bit expensive but it is an incredible or experience. The food and service were great.... Drinks were awesome. You can sit outside on any side of the building or be inside at a table or bar. This is truly a must andyou won?t forget your time here. I also had the best edamame that I?ve ever had. My friends and I came here for drinks on 6/8/18. I always had heard good things of this rooftop bar so I wanted to try it out.... The views of Rochester from the outside patio are phenomenal. Yes the drinks are expensive, about 2 dollars more per mixed drinkthan at other places but I think it's worth the price to sit or stand outside. The only problem is the bartenders are in asunken area which really isn't appropriate with what some bartenders wear. The bartender also ignored me for 3 other grouos ofpeople but also served my 3 friends so that was outrageous. We used to love coming here and have had numerous birthday celebrations here. The menu is very small now and the sushi is not... like it used to be. Very bland and for those prices it should be excellent. The service is poor as well. We could not evenmake a reservation and were actually told they cannot take one since the restaurant is closed and to call back. We will go fordrinks now only--which may be the direction they seem to be headed in anyhow. Read more
